He loves having his picture taken and has the personality that every dog loves! His foster has 10 pups in the home and he keeps most of them pretty busy during the day. A fenced in yard with another dog would be his ideal home! He is potty & crate trained (4 hrs max), uses a doggy door to let himself out to potty and knows some basic commands. We do not understand why he hasn't been scooped up, could you be the one? Submit an application if interested in meeting!
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets. Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
