This girl with the beautiful smile is Kyla! She arrived at the shelter as a lost dog with ID on 3/1, and sadly, her people never came to reclaim her. It appears as though she recently weaned some pups, but she's now taken the "no more puppies" pledge so that she can live her best life! The volunteers describe her as friendly, though initially shy. The loud, overwhelming shelter can be a lot for some dogs, so we imagine once in a loving home she'll open up and relax. Kyla looks forward to her daily walks at the shelter where she can get some fresh air and love from the volunteers. She is such a pretty dog, and she does know how to sit nicely when asked. If you have a soft spot for the shy kids, please come to the shelter and ask to meet Kyla! Kyla is approximately 5 years old, and weighs 46 lbs. She is spayed, UTD on vaccines, has been microchipped, and did test negative for heartworms. Kyla is waiting patiently in kennel 57; her ID # is 17291. This distinguished gentleman is Maximos! He arrived at the shelter as a lost dog with ID on 4/18, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. The volunteers have enjoyed getting to know Maximos and describe him as friendly and chill. He enjoys his daily walks and responds to several commands including sit and stay. If you're looking for a mature dog to spend your days with, please come meet Maximos! He deserves to be spending his golden years curled up on a comfy bed in a loving home. This sweet boy is Ferris! He was surrendered to the shelter on 5/6 because his owner is moving into an apartment and Ferris isn't allowed there. His former owner did note that Ferris is house trained, good with children, and good with cats and dogs! The volunteers describe him as such a good boy! He was upset when he was left at the shelter and cried for his family, but he's starting to settle in. Ferris responds to several commands including sit and lay down. Ferris is really hoping for a new, forever home soon! Could it be with you? Ferris is approximately 6 years old, and weighs 67 lbs.
