Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Say hello to this yin and yang duo that must be adopted together. Loki (tuxedo) craves attention and love often. He is gentle and naturally cautious, likely because he spent the first ten weeks of life outdoors and lived through two hurricanes. But once he feels safe around you, he will melt like butter. It's the BEST feeling when he rolls over on his belly and purrs, making air biscuits to show you that he trusts you. Loki needs a family that can spend a lot of time with him upfront (holding him, petting him, talking to him) to help him build trust and confidence in your home. A relatively quiet home is also preferred. Mellow MJ is all play, and then all cuddles. He was born indoors and is naturally confident and happy go lucky. He likes to be petted, and once he's done playing, he will plop himself down your lap or across your neck for a nice cuddle and nap. He has a stunning look of a cross between a rag doll and Siamese, possibly the most gorgeous kitten we've ever rescued! MJ does a good job teaching Loki to be brave and they enjoy playful wrestling. They are both litterbox trained, and tested negative for feline AIDS and Leukemia. A family will be very lucky to adopt these two adorable babies! Most of Dexter's Kitties are fixed, chipped, SNAP combo tested and vaccinated for their age. The adoption fee is $125 for a kitten, $200 for two kittens. If you rent your home, we respectfully ask for your landlord or management company's information to confirm pets are allowed. If you own your home, we will check public records to confirm. If the cat is still on our website, that means the cat is still currently available. If you have questions, your inquiries will be given priority if you submit an application at www.DextersKitties.org. We are a volunteer team and try to respond as quickly as time allows. And finally please remember that cats can live more than 20+ years, so this is a LIFE TIME commitment. Please make sure you have the financial resources to cover emergency vet bills if your cat gets sick, a stable home, and someone to take the cat(s) if something heaven forbid happens and you can no longer care for them. Thank you for adopting a rescue cat! Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 19, 2024, 7:04 am
