Story
My family originally saved Ammo from being euthanized at a pound he was dropped off at after his original owners gave him up due to him being bigger than they anticipated. He has lived with us for the past 6 years and is great with kids. My son was a baby when we first got him and Ammo loved laying with him and playing with him outside as he got older. Ammo loves short walks and loves to be loved on; He will be your best couch mate! Ammo does not do well with cats. He has some dog aggression so it would be best if he was in an only pet household but is incredibly sweet and all of his great features will flourish in the right home. Please feel free to reach out to me should you have any questions!

Story
Prada is a Border Newfie. She wandered up our driveway as an 8 week old puppy. She had parvo. We nursed her back to health. She is the sweetest dog I have ever had the privilege of keeping. She loves all animals and thinks any baby is hers. She wouldn't hurt a fly. She is the epitome of a gentle giant. She is now 2 and 1/2 yrs old.

Story
I'm Apollo. Yes, I am a handsome boy but I don't let that go to my head. I am friendly with everyone I meet. And it seems I can cause quite a stir. I really enjoy my foster family who plays ball with me which is my most favorite game!. I don't like being left alone for long periods. But I do great when I am left with a confident fur sibling once I've had a chance to get used to my surroundings. I am a good house guest with hardly any barking and no accidents. I'm still working on my crate training and leash walking skills. If you are ready for big furry snuggles,  just let them know at TMHPR if you want to meet me for yourself! I'll be waiting!    ##1787337##

All resident pets in the applicant's home MUST be spayed or neutered, core vaccines up to date and dogs on heartworm prevention to be considered! No exceptions.  Must be 21 years or older with identification showing present address. Must have the knowledge and consent of all adults living in the household. Story
Flint, is an adorable, sweet and silly Great Pyrenees mix, 8 months old & 47 pounds. He is moderate to low energy but very playful with other dogs, fine with cats, too.  He is a toy hoarder which is endearing to watch as he gathers up all the dog toys around the house and piles on his bed. He also plays fetch! He knows sit & down and is completely house trained!   He is a little shy at first but his personally is growing as his self confidence improves every day!   His ideal home needs a fenced yard and an owner home more than not. Another playful dog in the home is a must. And an abundance of toys!   To meet Flint in person visit us at www.dsda.org/adopt and submit our online adoption application.  * Adoption Fees: Puppies (12 months and under) - $325  Dogs (over 12 months) - $275  Qualifications for Adoption:  No dog is alike and each dog has different requirements based on breed, age, energy level and life experiences.
