Currently working on potty training, crate training and walking on a leash. Remember puppies require a lot of attention and patience but Shadow is very smart! He loves to please his humans! He is a large breed and expected to be over 60 plus pounds. To meet Shadow, please fill out an application!   Application available at https://www.pawsofloverescue.com/adoption-application . Adoption donation of $350 includes spay/neuter, microchip, 2-3 dewormings, dhpp vaccinations, rabies shot, bordetella nose spray and any other necessary procedures prior to adoption. Story
My family originally saved Ammo from being euthanized at a pound he was dropped off at after his original owners gave him up due to him being bigger than they anticipated. He has lived with us for the past 6 years and is great with kids. My son was a baby when we first got him and Ammo loved laying with him and playing with him outside as he got older. Ammo loves short walks and loves to be loved on; He will be your best couch mate! Ammo does not do well with cats. He has some dog aggression so it would be best if he was in an only pet household but is incredibly sweet and all of his great features will flourish in the right home. Please feel free to reach out to me should you have any questions!

Story
Trip had to have his leg amputated as it healed improperly after it was broken while he was a growing puppy. However, he is one of the happiest, silliest boys you could hope to meet. He lives with lots of other dogs and is a favorite playmate for most of them - he loves all his canine buddies and is fine around cats. Trip loves all humans he meets and would be a great addition to any home looking for a playful, outgoing dog. He is mostly crate trained and will ask to go outside, however he has not been up longer than overnight without a potty break. He does not get many chances to go for car rides but enjoys it when he can. Trip is fully vetted - current with all vaccines, on heartworm and flea/tick prevention, neutered and microchipped.

Story
Meet Abel! Abel is a handsome 5 1/2 month old (as of 01-30-2025) Great Pyrenees pup currently weighing approx. 55 Lbs.  Abel is the best pup! He is doing great with potty training, basic training and takes correction well. He really is such a smart boy! Abel is the epitome of a family dog! He adores children and loves their affection and interacting with them. Abel does great with other dogs and would get along great if you have a cat in the home too. Fully grown, Great Pyrenees are estimated to be about 80-100lbs. Due to their large size, we recommend researching all of the pros and cons of adopting a large to extra large breed puppy before adopting if you have small children or toddlers in the home.   Puppies need a home with the time and patience to teach them how to be the best doggies they can be. They are working on learning all their doggie manners and becoming great family companions. Their adoption fee includes spay/neuter, 3 sets of vaccinations, dewormer, first dose of HW prevention, microchip and microchip registration.  For more information or to schedule a meet and greet with the pups, complete an online application and the foster will be in touch! https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoption-application/ DOB: 8/11/2024 Weight: Approx 80-100lbs when full grown. We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in adopting from LHS, please complete an online application at http://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ and we will contact you asap about the status of your application.
