Ammo

Newfoundland Labrador Retriever

Male, Adult
Hurst, TX
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
My family originally saved Ammo from being euthanized at a pound he was dropped off at after his original owners gave him up due to him being bigger than they anticipated. He has lived with us for the past 6 years and is great with kids. My son was a baby when we first got him and Ammo loved laying with him and playing with him outside as he got older. Ammo loves short walks and loves to be loved on; He will be your best couch mate! Ammo does not do well with cats. He has some dog aggression so it would be best if he was in an only pet household but is incredibly sweet and all of his great features will flourish in the right home. Please feel free to reach out to me should you have any questions!

Story
Have a seat, friends, school is back in session, and Luna DeClaire is leading the lessons today. Luna is a stunning young doodle mix who really shines in a loving home. She is gentle, enjoys other dogs and kids, and loves to cuddle. She has a calm demeanor and relishes expending her energy playing with another canine pal. Luna prefers to have company and not be left alone in her crate for long periods of time; like all young ‘uns, she can find her way into mischief if left too much to her own devices. And like all young ‘uns, she will need continued training as she matures so she can be a paw-fect family companion. Luna DeClaire’s adoption fee is $600. She is current on all HW/flea preventatives, spayed, and microchipped. All adoption fees go toward expenses like medical costs and food for Doodle Dandy dogs and help make it possible for us to continue giving amazing pups like Luna a second chance. If you would like to fill out an application and are within a 5-hour radius of the foster’s location, please click on one of the Adoption Application buttons here: https://www.doodledandyrescue.org/all-adoptable-doodles/luna-declaire and select LUNA DECLAIRE from the drop-down menu on the application form.

Story
Hi! I'm Obi! I am a 2 year old male Newfoundland/Lab mix that weighs approx. 66 lbs. I was surrendered due to my previous family no longer being able to care for me. I am good with other dogs but a meet and greet is suggested prior to adoption if you have another dog in the home. I love the company of a furry friend! I'm a bouncy boy and am currently working on learning fetch. I walk pretty well on a leash and am willing to learn basic commands. I would do best in an adult only home or one with children who are older than 16 years old. I have been searching for my furr ever home for over 90 days and am now considered a Diamond Dog! My adoption fee is $75. I am neutered, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination, basic boosters, and am heartworm negative. Since I am in foster, meet and greets will be by approved application only. Please complete an online adoption application on our website at https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense. November 6, 2024, 7:31 pm

Story
We need your help! We have a great Pyranees mix that we rescued back in 2017. Unfortunately he has developed separation anxiety which has made it difficult for us to leave the house. With two little kids that have many activities, and with having to go back into the office I can no longer provide him with the time he needs. We have gotten medication to ease his anxiety and it has helped but he really needs someone who can give him more attention and training to ease his crate/separation anxiety. Cooper also has a fear of other dogs but has lived with our Cocker spaniel over the years with no issues. He has been great with our kids just gets excited and likes to jump when greeting. He calms down after a few minutes though and typically sleeps during the day. Please reach out for more information as he is really a sweet dog and we have no other option other than putting him down which I can't bring myself to do.

Dawn Was left neglected in a pen… She was originally used as a Livestock guardian, but she killed chickens… She is very much submissive and a Velcro dog learning how to be a pet. She is so sweet so deserving she would thrive with another dog. She will not be very big compared to an Anatolian size.
