Story
Ghost was almost euthanized in a rural south Texas shelter before we saved him. He is a sweet, loving boy that just wants to be around people. Because of his breed, he has a good amount of energy and will need daily exercise. He is super smart and will benefit from structure and basic training. He is already fully vetted (neutered, up to date on vaccines, & currently on flea/tick/heartworm prevention). He is very friendly with other dogs after proper slow introductions. He is currently fostered in a pet hotel and plays with lots of other dogs every single day! He is crate/kennel trained and working on his house training. "He loves to eat and play with balls, bones and ropes." Big Tex loves people and thinks he's small enough to be a lap dog! He'll give you kisses in return for head scratches. This smart pup knows the "sit command, is house-trained and is content to sleep in his crate all night. Tex makes a perfect walking or jogging companion, as he's happy on a leash and loves exploring his neighborhood. When you're done walking, Tex relaxes in the sun or snoozes next to you while you work from home. He's very stressed out here at the shelter but thrives in a home. Big Tex capture your heart?
