Story
Storm is a 3 year old Newfoundland looking for her happily ever after, she’s fully vetted, house trained, crate trained, good on leash and basic commands, this stunning grey girl LOVES her people, but can be Leary of strangers. She does NOT do well with kids, and we don’t recommend she be in a home with them at all. She is a dominant female, so would do best in a home with a submissive male. She also originated at the Kansas breeder previously mentioned, who refused to take her back and blocked the owner when they called for help. Storm has been with us for months while we have worked with her training and gotten a good evaluation of her. We know what she needs for a successful placement and are in no hurry, she will only go to the perfect home, for her. She’s located in Oklahoma, she requires secure fencing, we do not transport. Navi is a sweet, 3 year old Newfoundland, who has spent most of her life crated at leat 22 hours a day, no coat care, no love or attention, she came into rescue last week and we’ve found her to be an absolute sweetheart, she’s been professionally groomed, microchipped and got her shots, she is heartworm negative, she will be spayed early December. She is SO sweet, she’s just wants attention and love, she’s learning how to be a dog, and will receive formal training to learn basic commands We do not ship, she is currently with a foster in Kansas City, KS. Zelda is a very sweet 3 year old Newfoundland, she loves people, is house and crate trained, she is a beige newf which is a dilute brown, meaning she could be prone to alopecia and skin allergy's, we really haven't seen much of either, however, do have her on daily Claritin, her prior owner shaved her coat down and it's currently growing back in. She is fully vetted, heartworm negative, microchipped and groomed, located in Oklahoma, we don't ship. Baby (formerly Hall) was adopted at nearly 4 months old. Much loved and cared for over the last 3 years, his size and adopters health issues have brought him back to us. He is now in boarding and is terrified. Everything is new and loud. There are strangers everywhere. Once away from the chaos, he is sweet and affectionate. He wants love and comfort. He breaks my heart because he only wanted me to touch him. Reassure him. He needs a foster or adopter. Baby Hall is good with kids and dogs, crate trained, housebroken, seems good on a leash. Story
Meet Lyla, formerly known as Freckles, a loving girl who is returning and looking for a foster home. Adopted in February as one of Honey’s puppies, Lyla has shown herself to be a sweet and affectionate companion. She loves to cuddle and is great with kids, often snuggling up on the second pillow above your head at night. Lyla gets along with other dogs, though it took some time for her to settle in. She has a strong personality and sometimes tries to take on the alpha role, which has led to some tension with other female dogs in the household. She’s crate trained and does well with it, though she occasionally has accidents, especially at night. These accidents are right by the doggie door, at night. She’s not the best on a leash but she has enjoyed walks and the outdoors. Lyla is still learning and she’s always eager for love and attention. Sadly, due to ongoing issues with aggression from the other female dog, her adopters decided to find Lyla a new home where she can thrive and feel safe. She’s a sweet, high-energy girl who deserves a family where she can be the loving companion she’s meant to be. If you think Lyla could be the perfect fit for your home, we’d love to hear from you. Sadie is six years old and a very good girl. She knows sit, shake, stay, eat, and take your pill. She is a mostly outdoor dog. She has a problem with her right front leg. She limps and takes carprofen for pain.. We are moving to southern Texas and it will be too hot for her there. She needs a good loving home and a place to play outdoors. She can walk on her leg but she limps. She likes attention and would love a family. A farm or acreage would be ideal. Pyrenees are stock or herding dogs and very loving companions.
