Meet Dublin and Killarney - two adorable brothers that were recently welcomed in from our reservation partner in South Dakota.  We don't know exactly what is their breed mix, but we do know pups from this area tend to be 10+ different breeds in their DNA! We also know these pups will grow up to be big dogs - likely in the 55-75lb range. Our partner also rescued their mom - she was 75lbs and looked to be a Newfie/Bernard/Shepherd/Husky mix.  Dublin is more outgoing than his brother - he is the first to come running up for attention, is bold and is confident. He looks like a literal teddy bear and is SO sweet.  The boys are working hard on learning to be good puppies. They sleep in their crate and don't make a peep all night and keep their crates nice and clean. They are working on their house training, but are puppies after all. When on a schedule to go outside, they do well but will have the occassional accident inside.  The pups are fostered with other large dogs, cats and kids and love everyone.  Dublin is looking for an active family that has the time, patience and energy to handle a large, working breed dog. Socialization and training classes are an absolute must!  Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.  The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. Location: Jordan, MN Buddy has had a rough start but he is learning how to be a dog! Slow introductions to other dogs is important and would do best with a submissive dog or as an only dog. Buddy does well with cats and would do best with older kids/no kids. He is learning how to respect other dogs at all times. He is potty trained and walks great on a leash. He is easy going and loves to "talk in the morning when we first wake up. He loves hanging out with people and being lazy together! He is just a wonderful boy who has lots of love to give but is learning boundaries as he was never taught and lived on a chain since he was a puppy. ----- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
