Story
Big Puppies, Big Love, Big Futures 🐾These three beautiful puppies are already off to a wonderful start in life — something we don’t often get to say about pups coming from Mississippi. From day one, they’ve been surrounded by love, care, and attention thanks to a dedicated owner who made sure both mom and babies were well cared for before reaching out to help them find amazing homes here in New England. And their looks? Just wait…Dad is a stunning German Shepherd, and mom is an absolutely gorgeous Newfoundland — both well-loved, well-cared for, and living as neighbors who clearly had one very memorable meet-up. (Mom is now spayed — her baby days are officially behind her!)These puppies have been raised on a farm where they’ve had the best kind of upbringing:> Socialized with dogs, cats, and other animals> Comfortable with humans of all ages> Used to an active, engaging environmentAt just about 15 weeks old, they’re already tipping the scales at 35–40 lbs, and we expect them to grow into very large dogs — likely over 100 lbs full-grown. With that comes all the joy (and reality!) of big dog ownership.Let’s be honest — these pups are:~ Happy~ Exuberant~ Playful~ And yes… a little bit exhausting in the best puppy wayThey will need homes ready for:-> Continued training and structure-> Space for a large dog to grow and thrive-> A sense of humor and a love for big, goofy personalitiesThese are not sit-on-the-sidelines dogs — they are going to be big, active, loving companions who will fill your home (and your couch) in no time. And fair warning… puppies like this don’t stay available for long. 💛If you’ve been dreaming of raising a big, beautiful dog from puppyhood, this is your chance.Breed: Newfoundland Dog/German Shepherd Dog (Parents on foster premises)Age: 15 weeks as of 3/19 - estimatedWeight: 35 lbs as of 3/19Spayed/Neutered: Too young - Spay/Neuter Contract will be required and strictly enforced.Vaccinations: Puppy vaccines will be up to date. We can provide adopters with a list of low-cost SN clinics when requested. The adoption fee also includes the transport fee when applicableATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS:  You must attend training/behavior classes with your new dog unless you are an experienced dog owner and your adoption coordinator is comfortable with your experience.  This requirement is for your benefit and your puppy's, so if you experience behavioral issues, you have a point of contact.  PLEASE—Think long and hard before adopting a puppy. Consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours until he's older. Puppy-proofing your home will be necessary. Puppies scratch and nip, so if you have small children, can they handle this? Training will be so crucial in this puppy's life.
