Dottie is the sweetest, smartest puppy we’ve met in a long time. She is doing awesome with potty training and crate training and is a total people pleaser when it comes to training. She’s learning to leash walk and some commands! She loves kiddos, dogs and cats.

Story
Hi, my name is Stella but I go by Stellie-Bellie. I am guessed to be a 3 yr old Great Pyrenees, around 71 lbs, and here in Colorado searching for my furever family, all the way from Texas. When I first arrived here I was not feeling my best. But after some TLC, antibiotics, and anti-itch medicine I am good as new! I do have some weakness and instability in my hind legs but that doesn't stop me from getting the zoomies before bedtime! Plus the vet said my x-rays look good! True to her breed, Stella enjoys sunbathing in the yard and being stubborn when being called in. Despite her stubborn nature, Stella is eager to please and responds well to praise. She enjoys dividing her time between laying in the sun, protecting the yard and snuggled up at her humans feet. Stella gets along well with other dogs with slow introduction but would do best in a home with a submissive, low energy dog or as an only pet. We are still working on potty training and counter surfing, but with gentle correction, she is making good progress. Stella continues to have weakness in her hind legs but they do not seem to be in pain and doesn't stop her from enjoying running and playing. Her hip x-ray did not show any signs of problems. She had bad allergies and skin infections upon first arrival, but with a beef diet and allergy medicine, this issue is nearly completely resolved. Though needing a little extra love, Stella is such a sweetie and everyone that has met her has instantly fallen in love. If you have room in your heart and home, apply to meet miss Stellie.

Story
Meet Antonio, a handsome and gentle male Great Pyrenees. This guy is around 2 years old and has captured the hearts of volunteers with his docile, shy personality. He has been in resource for the last year already! His two brothers were already adopted but he has been so timid that most potential adopters pass him over. *Update as of 1/24/25: He has been with a foster in Denver for one month. He has shown that he would be most comfortable with a confident dog in the home. He loves small dogs! He gets a little nervous with city noises and he can be very timid when going outside. A quiet home with a yard and easy access to outside are critical. He is currently very difficult to walk on a leash as he darts and freezes due to his fears. He has shown that he likes being around the 10 year old human child in the house. He is fine with cats. He loves to have his face rubbed and enjoys treats. He needs a home with patience and love. Please apply if you have questions and we can connect. Let us know if you want to schedule an initial meet.
