Story
Age: 1.5 yearsWeight: 36.4kg / 80.2lbsA little bit about Loki Dokie:- unknown history with children, interactions must be supervised- unknown history with cats and small animals- potential for select dog in home pending successful dog to dogHave you ever met an Irish Wolfhound x Newfoundland x Coonhound cross? No? Well, now's your chance! Introducing the one and only Loki Dokie. With such an impressive pedigree, Loki is not meant for the shelter life. She is destined for soft beds, gourmet treats and a whole lot of pampering! Unfortunately, Loki has had a rough go of it lately. After being abandoned by her previous owner, she made her way to the shelter and has not been a huge fan (to say the least). Loki Dokie was absolutely terrified on her first day, and while she has warmed up a bit, she's still a shy pup who is going to need some encouragement in her forever home. She is nervous when meeting new people or faced with unfamiliar situations, but once she does get comfortable, she's an affectionate lady who sticks close to her people. Based on her limited history, we're not too sure how she would do with kids or other animals, so all introductions must be done slowly and under adult supervision. What do you say? Are you willing to help this underdog transform into the superhero we know she is?

These pups are in Calgary, Alberta too!

Story
Introducing our lovable furry friend! This charming pup is a people-person through and through—ready to soak up all the pets and attention from anyone, including strangers! However, when it comes to little ones, sudden movements and loud noises can startle him a bit. If children are calm and gentle, he's happy to hang out. Although he's not a fan of being carried or lifted, he's a big fan of canine companions, especially smaller or similar-sized dogs. He's a true protector, but only when needed—stepping up if other dogs are too rowdy or aggressive. Birds? Squirrels? They catch his eye during walks, but with a bit of leash training, he's working on his focus. In terms of energy, he's got the perfect balance—loving outdoor adventures but a total zen master indoors. While he might tug a little on walks, once he settles, he's an excellent leash follower. Busy streets can be overwhelming, so quieter spots are more his style. No guarding resources from people, but he might issue a gentle growl if other dogs get too close. When it's time to travel, he prefers a cozy crate in the car—helping ease those nerves and avoiding any car sickness. One thing's for sure—he's a potty pro outdoors only! Basic commands like sit, stay, paw, and eye contact? Nailed it! And did we mention he's a sucker for ice cubes? If you're ready to welcome this gentle giant into your heart and home, reach out to our team today to make him a part of your family! Story
This large fellow is looking for a home of his own. He is a guardian breed which often lives an outdoor life. A home with a fully fenced yard would be ideal to give him a safe space to roam and call his own. He has a thick coat which will require some upkeep. He is quite calm, but does have moments of excitement where he jumps up to say hi. For this reason it is recommended that he go to a home with older children. He currently weighs around 40kgs. A private training class is required with adoption.
