Meet Rollie, an extraordinary 3-year-old, 65-pound Great Dane mix with a heart as big as his stature! Rollie came to us from a partner shelter after being surrendered as a stray, and while he only has three legs, you’d never know it—he doesn’t let that slow him down one bit. We don’t know the story behind his missing leg, but Rollie embraces life with joy and resilience. He’s sweet as can be, adores being with his people, and gets along beautifully with other dogs. This loving boy is ready to find his forever family and show them just how amazing he is. Great Danes like Rollie make incredible pets. Known as “gentle giants,” they are loyal, affectionate, and deeply devoted to their families. Despite their size, Great Danes are often nicknamed “lap dogs” because of how much they love to snuggle and be close to their humans. They are typically calm, well-mannered dogs who adapt well to family life and are excellent with children and other pets. Their even-tempered nature and friendly demeanor make them wonderful companions. Rollie embodies all of these fantastic qualities and more. He’s a true testament to the resilient and loving nature of Great Danes and is sure to bring joy and warmth to his future home. Whether he’s lounging with you on the couch or socializing with canine friends, Rollie will fill your days with unconditional love and companionship.
