Story
We adopted her from Chicago animal control 7-4-19. We were told she was about 3-4 at the time. She’s in good health. We are forced to move and unfortunately can’t take her with us. She is wonderful with kids. She can’t be boarded because it scares her, so keep that in mind. Our guess is from her time at animal control. We just want what’s best for her and for her to go to a lovely home. She’s a real sweet girl.

Story
Flynn is a 6 yr old mutt that I had adopted from the Ozaukee County Animal Shelter when he was 6 months old. He was a rescue from Mississippi, and had some trauma when he lived down there. He is so sweet but he really should be an only dog and with someone who can give him attention and snuggles he wants. I do have a cat and he does well with her but I’m not sure how he’d do with another cat. I need to re-home him, because he keeps attacking my other dogs. We had a baby back in August and he is having a difficult time not getting as much attention from me. He has done professional training at Sit Means Sit, and did very well but you need to do that stuff every day and with my baby and 2 other dogs I don’t have the time. He is very easy dog otherwise, just want to lay on the couch and chill. He doesn’t pull on his leash and loves car rides.

Story
Maggie is an 8 year old mixed breed that we've had for about 2.5 years. When I adopted her, I don't think I was given the full truth about her temperament with other dogs. She's become increasingly aggressive towards our 2 younger, much bigger, dogs and has recently gotten herself injured after picking a fight with them. After a lot of discussions at home & with our vet, we've decided that the best thing for Maggie would be to go to a home where she can be someone's only dog. She loves blankets & beds. She's great with cats & kids. And she'll cuddle with anyone that lets her believe she's a lap dog. She just simply CANNOT be in a home with other dogs. So if you're looking to give some love to a loaf shaped pup that will love you for the rest of her life, Maggie is your perfect pet!

Story
Meet Marley, A 80lb five year old female lab mix. She is spayed and up to date on all her shots. Marley is crate trained, and house broken. She loves to sleep in her crate at night, and if left alone during the day will also hang out in there. When home she likes to be pet on her lower neck, and run around outside. Likes to sit under a tree on spring or summer day and chew on a bone. Loves to run around with my 4yr old son and chase him around on the battery cars in the yard. Can be walked with a leash, but we only use when going to the vet. Marley would strive in a single dog home with someone on a regular work schedule.

Story
Finnley will be your second shadow every where you go. He loves spending time outside and taking walks expect in the rain. His favorite toys are squeaky toys and will play fetch with them, although he doesn’t understand playing with balls or other toys. He plays/runs nicely along the fence with other neighbor dogs. But to my knowledge that’s the closest to other dogs. He is a sensitive soul, inside and out and prefers relaxed environment and will usher you to bed by 830. He’s good with kids who are older. He knows sit, lay down,leave it, free and come. He responds well with clicker training. He walks good on the leash and harness. But will sometimes pulls to go towards other people or dogs. Finnleys recall off leash is not strong,something we have been working on. Finnley is ment to be an only pet. He does not do well with other small animals or cats. Almost a year later our senior cat and finnley are still not working out and for everyone’s sake it’s best to rehome finnley.

Story
Otis is such a sweet boy. We believe he is somewhere around 7-8 years old, weighs approximately 80lbs, and is a Boxer mix of some kind. We are only looking to rehome him because our youngest daughter (who was born after we got Otis) is allergic to dogs. Otis is very gentle and easy going, is great with kids, adults, other dogs, and cats (although he is very interested them when first meeting). We have not done any formal training other than at home, he does know basic commands. It breaks our hearts to give him up, but we would take great comfort in knowing he would go to a loving family.
