Story
Topo is a 4-year-old mixed-breed rescue with a heart full of love and a spirit ready for adventure. Rescued from the South, this sweet boy has had a challenging start, but he's been blossoming in his foster care. Topo is incredibly affectionate and enjoys nothing more than snuggling on the couch after a fun day of fetch or frisbee. Whether it's running on trails or showing off his impressive agility skills, Topo loves to stay active and mentally engaged. He's also a quick learner, and training new tricks with him is a rewarding experience. However, Topo needs a specific type of forever home. Due to his past experiences, he can be nervous in certain situations, especially around other dogs. He’s reactive when encountering dogs on a leash and needs to avoid meeting new dogs during walks. He does best when he's the only pet in the household and needs slow, controlled introductions if he’s to meet other dogs. Story
I never wanted a second dog but when I visited family for mother's day, I saw that Chloe was very malnourished. That week I begged my sister and niece to let me take her and a couple weeks later I brought her home and started nursing her back to health. We put at least 10 pounds on her in a couple months and got her a few vet visits to get her caught up on everything and make sure she was strong and healthy. She's a huge attention hog and just loves people. She really is a great dog but my first dog is my angel and I want to give 100% of my attention to her. I only took Chloe to save her life. Now she needs a family that will give her the love and attention that she deserves.
