Story
Leo is a fiercely loyal companion and friend. Like most chihuahuas, he has bonded to a single person. I got Leo as a rescue when he was 5 weeks old in 4/2016. At that time I had a toddler and he adjusted well to him as he grew. We also have a cat he has grown up with and loves. He is 8 years old, cheerful and loving. We have a border collie who is very mild tempered Leo has been with the last 3 yrs also. It took 3 mon. to adjust them. Leo wants to be the dominant in the household. We have 2 kids now. As he’s aged he is less patient. Over the last year he has been more stressed with the chaos and added people to his environment. He needs so much more attention than I can give him. We want to see him enjoying life. I recently became pregnant and have been diagnosed with a life-threatening medical diagnosis. Because I am his person but not in good health to care for him the burden falls on my family. And they already have to care for me. This pushed us to find him a better home.
