Meet Nahpah (หน้าผา, meaning "cliff" in Thai), an 8-year-old rescue Thai mix with a sweet, yet cautious and adventurous personality. Nahpah is looking for a safe and loving home where she can be your loyal hiking buddy and constant companion. She would be an ideal match for an individual or couple who are naturally good with dogs, enjoy being active and exploring nature. While Nahpah may be nervous and timid at first, she becomes incredibly affectionate and loyal to her person once she feels secure. Nahpah loves hiking in the mountains and walking around the neighborhood. She also enjoys a good nap and laying around in the sun. Nahpah needs a child-free home and should be the only pet, as she can get anxious and reactive toward kids and other dogs. She is also protective over her food, so a patient and understanding owner is essential. If you have a gentle and patient nature and are looking for a loyal adventure buddy, Nahpah could be the perfect companion for you.

Story
Goose is an absolute Velcro dog that loves to be near you. He loves to be picked up, he loves playing tug, he will rush to cuddle up against you and will stay with you all night. He is lazy all day, but those zoomies will get him going for 30 minutes straight. He doesn't like to be left alone, so if you work from home or have a flexible schedule he would be in heaven. He currently lives with 3 cats that he mostly leaves alone. He lived with an older dog as a puppy but was always a bit too energetic for that. He is in desperate need of a home that has the opportunity for him to free roam outside of his kennel the majority of each day and someone who has the time for consistent training with him. He is so sweet but so anxious and needs that constant reassurance. His birthday is March 13, 2023

Freja is a 4 year-old loving and energetic puppy for life. She was found in an abusive home and saved by a firefighter who has been rehabilitating and training her for the past 2 years. She now gives a big wiggle and smile to us every morning. As much as we would love to let her continue to light up our days, she does not get along with the other dogs in our house and needs a home with no dominant pets. After many kisses and treats, it is time for her to find her forever home. She wants an owner who likes to throw the ball for her, let her showcase her amazing dog walking skills, go on hiking adventures and snuggle. She is very well-trained, including sitting and waiting until the go-ahead to eat her food or to go outside, getting into her kennel or directed to go to her bed, sit, lie down, and not pulling on the leash. I love her, and know she will bring life & joy to her new family.

This older gal likes to lay around the house and block doorways in the most inconvenient way possible while giving you moody side eye for trying to cuddle her. All jokes aside she loves to play fetch in the yard and will keep playing fetch until you make her stop. On the other hand, she is happy to just be sitting inside resting until her next fetch session. We have just been fostering Nana after finding her locked in a cage 24/7! Big Girls just wanna have fun... so give this big girl a new home?

Lulu is 4yrs old, she does okay with other dogs but would very much like to be someones only dog. She does not get along with cats but adores kids of all ages. She is very affectionate and loves to give big hugs, kisses, and be cuddled right up next to you or on your lap. She has lots of energy and loves to play so an active household would be best for her.

Story
Penny is a sweet girl who would thrive with a family in which she is the sole focus. She has severe separation anxiety, and is on a daily medication for it. (We hope she can be weaned off of it in time.) This is something her future family would have to be patient with and really work with her on. She is fine with other animals and kids, but she needs a lot of attention, so someone with a busy job that takes them out of the house or someone who has their attention split due to other pets or children likely won't be a good fit. Penny would really benefit from long walks, clicker training (she is very treat motivated), and possible dog day care/classes. She responds to her name, is house broken, and knows sit, stay, down, and can play fetch. She is also a puppy, so she is big on chewing and has no sense of self-preservation. We caught her trying to eat a rock more than once. She needs "power chewer" toys like Kongs to be happy. She is very fun, sweet, small, and mighty!
