Dog: Bandit (F) believed to be about 11 years old and is 50 pounds. She was adopted from a rescue in the Chicago area 10 years ago. Due to recent health problems her owner is no longer able to walk and exercise her. Bandit is in perfect health, is up to date on all of her shots, is microchipped and is fixed. She is energetic and playful, loves walks, toys and car rides. A fenced yard allows her to yell at squirrels and get her zoomies out. She is very friendly with people, and is neutral towards other dogs. She enjoys dog parks. She can be food and toy protective towards other dogs, so being the only dog in the home would be best. Thank you!

Story
Freja is a 4 year-old loving and energetic puppy for life. She was found in an abusive home and saved by a firefighter who has been rehabilitating and training her for the past 2 years. She now gives a big wiggle and smile to us every morning. As much as we would love to let her continue to light up our days, she does not get along with the other dogs in our house and needs a home with no dominant pets. After many kisses and treats, it is time for her to find her forever home. She wants an owner who likes to throw the ball for her, let her showcase her amazing dog walking skills, go on hiking adventures and snuggle. She is very well-trained, including sitting and waiting until the go-ahead to eat her food or to go outside, getting into her kennel or directed to go to her bed, sit, lie down, and not pulling on the leash. I love her, and know she will bring life & joy to her new family.

Story
Goose is an absolute Velcro dog that loves to be near you. He loves to be picked up, he loves playing tug, he will rush to cuddle up against you and will stay with you all night. He is lazy all day, but those zoomies will get him going for 30 minutes straight. He doesn't like to be left alone, so if you work from home or have a flexible schedule he would be in heaven. He currently lives with 3 cats that he mostly leaves alone. He lived with an older dog as a puppy but was always a bit too energetic for that. He is in desperate need of a home that has the opportunity for him to free roam outside of his kennel the majority of each day and someone who has the time for consistent training with him. He is so sweet but so anxious and needs that constant reassurance. His birthday is March 13, 2023

Story
Hello, Richie is a beloved member of our family, and we are heartbroken to have to give him up. However, we just recently moved to a small apartment from a large, suburban house in Utah and Richie has not adapted well to the smaller living area and constrained activities. He no longer has a big yard to run around and chase squirrels. Richie needs a big house and yard, maybe in the country, or at least in the suburbs. He is well trained, very affectionate, and is great with children. He can/has taken a lot of abuse from our children without ever biting or complaining. We hope that he can find a new home where he can be loved and return your attention and affection. Sincerely, Victor
