Meepo was rescued in Salem at 6 weeks old, he was born April 27th 2024 so he will be 2 years old soon. He has been a wonderful dog, however my health is declining and I am not able to take care of him to the degree that he needs. He is very good with dogs, kids, has yet to met a stranger, is very trainable.

Story
We rescued Rosie six months ago from elderly owners who could no longer care for her. She is a smart, loyal, and devoted companion who has been safe and loved with us ever since. She is a 65-lb "American Mutt," house-trained, leash-trained, and responsive to commands. She loves daily walks and would thrive with an active adopter. Naturally watchful, she takes her "job" as a guardian of the home seriously and will be a confident, alert dog for her new family. Why does she need a new home? Despite our best efforts, Rosie and our two resident dogs struggle to get along. It’s clear she wasn’t socialized with other pets early on. For Rosie to truly relax and thrive, she should be the only dog in the home. The ideal match: - Adult-only home or family with teenagers. - A "single pet" household. If you’re looking for a faithful sidekick, we’d love to share more about Rosie’s routine.

Story
Mary Jane is about 4.5 years old. We have two kids (ages 6 and 9) and she does great with them (has lived with us for almost 4 years), but she is anxious around other kids. She is very sweet with us and likes to cuddle up. She likes to play fetch, go on hikes, and is a great running partner. She is smart, has completed obedience training, and is crate trained. She is nervous when meeting other dogs but does fine at the dogsitter's home with other dogs after she gets a few minutes to warm up. She has become territorial in/around our home with our kids' friends, strangers, and visitors (barking, jumping) and needs more socialization training than we can offer her. She will come with her beds and crate. We are willing to waive the fee and pay for a home visit with a trainer to get her acclimated to a new home. We just want a good home and family for her that gives her the attention and patience that she deserves. She is microchipped and up to date on all shots.

• Born in Delta, UT from a Bernese mom and Poodle dad. • Merle grey and black coat with white socks and chest. • He is energetic, aloof, goofy, protective, loyal, pack-oriented. • Favorite way to bond is through walks, being brushed, and making dinner together. • Clumsy and too huge for his own good! NEEDS- • a home where he can be vocal, he has lots to say! • his main bond to be home most of the time. • a fenced yard (no apartments). • a climate that stays relatively cool year round. • his owner to be committed to and have access to holistic, quality, and biologically appropriate diet and health-care. • a home without young children or cats. • an active household that can meet his energy requirements. • someone who is willing to let us know if its not working out for any reason. • a home where he can be the center of attention. (ideally NOT one among many dogs, although he could do well with one other companion). MORE CRITERIA UPON INTERVIEW
