Story
We adopted Morgan after she had been abandoned from a local shelter. We have had her about 5 months. She is very sweet and loves to play and run. It is obvious she was abused as she cowars and attempts to hide if people are loud and make sudden movements around her. We have been working with her to not bark at everything, and not chase cats, but would be better in a home without cats.

Story
My husband Eric and Sullivan “sully” Martin found each other about 6 years ago when Eric was driving back from a wedding in Virginia and spotted sully on the side of the road. Since then, sully has been up for any and all adventures and he has been an important part of our family unit. He moved cross country with us and loves Utah. Some of his favorite things include time off leash on hikes or at the dog park, dipping his toes and drinking out of fresh water streams, and nightly tooth bones. He has experienced some snow and absolutely loved it so we know he’ll enjoy the Utah winter. He’s spoiled rotten and we’re looking for a family who will show him lots of love. He does well with adults and older children, but has had difficulty adjusting to our newborn which is why we’ve decided to rehome. We suspect much of the behavior is anxiety-based and are currently working with a trainer on these behaviors. He has no history of biting and does well in doggy day care.

Story
Oliver is an 8 year old male German Shepherd mix breed. He is 75lbs and has a body like a nugget. He is loyal and great at making the home feel protected. He does have quirks that are challenging to appreciate at times. As a senior, he can be a grumpy old man that prefers not to be bothered. He tends to find spaces in the home that make him feel safe and when in those areas it is best to leave him be. Despite that, he is a fun loving dog that craves attention. Once you've earned his trust, all he wants are pets and cuddles. While we've never had an issue with him biting, he does give a warning snarl and nip. Out in the general public, he does a great job at interacting with people and animals, but within the home, he can be very territorial and may not be as welcoming to unknown guests. Despite being raised around children, I think the best living arrangement for him would be a single male or female without children who enjoy the outdoors and desire a good walking partner.
