Story
Jack is a VERY good boy. He recently lost his favorite human to a battle with cancer, and he is feeling a little lost in the world. He is currently living with dad's family, but they are a house of three cats, grandpa is terribly allergic to dogs….and Jack really deserves a home of dog owners! While he could not be more loved, he needs a younger family. He is a happy dog who can usually be seen with his toy ball in his mouth. He needs a yard and someone to play with him and walk him. He is about 7 years old, and is vaccinated, kennel trained, house-trained and usually follows directions to sit and lay. He is typically a quiet dog and does not cause much fuss. He would make an excellent pet to any family, and that family could not ask for a more loyal friend. We will not take Jack to a shelter, but we will be happy to help him transition to a new loving home, and will pay for neutering.

Story
Dog belonged to my deceased mother. She rescued animals habitually and left me with 4 dogs and 18 cats that I can no longer care for. Dexter is about 12 years old and still very energetic. His vet prescibes him Prozac for his anxiety. He's half poodle and quite handsome and affectionate. Though he is elderly, he loves chasing his tennis ball around the dog park. I would love for him to be able to live out the rest of his life in the kind of loving home he deserves. Would probably fare better if he were the only pet, but he does get along well with our other elderly dog and most cats.

Story
We adopted Diesel when he was about 6 weeks old. He had been a wonderful young brother to his older brother Shiner. We enjoyed camping and traveling together. Our family grew and now we have two young daughters. We will need to move to a bigger place. The new landlord do not accept pets. We are broken hearted to surrender out pets. But we have no choice. We pray for a loving family that would welcome our loving Diesel.

Story
NAME: Blythe Sex: male Color/Pattern: black and white tuxedo Breed: Terrier mix Weight: ~15-20 lbs Age at intake: ~4-5 months BDAY approx: ~ Sept 11, 2024 Intake date : Jan 11, 2025 Found date: Jan 9 Coat length: very short Description BLYTHE is a sleek and shiny, black and white boo boo with Dumbo ears. He is responsive, yet quiet, only reacting when spoken to. Personality This little guy we named Blythe, was very quiet and submissive the first few days in his foster home. He gets wiggly and excited when you pay him affection. Blythe is a sweetie, submissive and obedient. He likes to hang out in his crate with the door open where he feels safe to watch from there. He became very playful once he felt more confident in his new digs after a few days. He loves going outside and doesn't mind the weather no matter what it is. He picks up on commands quickly and learns from other dogs' examples. He was already doing well with potty training and socializing within 1 week of picking him up off the street. This puppy is an easy boy who loves being loved, and is low maintenance, but high reward in reciprocating affection. Background Blythe was probably only about 4 months old when found abandoned at a long term stay hotel along 290 in Houston the 2nd week of January 2025. Management had called animal control but no one came to get him. It was cold and he was skin and bones. He was living under a staircase for 5 days where residents had given him a hotel towel to sleep on. When he heard the volunteer call to him he started wiggling excitedly and licking her hands. He was timid and resistant about being put on a leash, but then he was quiet and very good on the ride home in the truck, even when a 2nd dog was also picked up. Happy to announce that he had already filled back out 1 week later after eating well, and playing with all other foster dogs.
