Story
I found nova wondering my neighborhood a couple days before Christmas and it was really cold at the time so I brought her into my home gave her some food and water and a bed for her to get warm in. A couple days past and I take her to my local vet clinic to see if she is microchipped and she in fact is microchipped and I was told I should hear from the owner within the day or next day. It has been almost 3 months and the owner still has not contacted me. Within the the months of having nova she has showed me what character she has and the love she has for anyone who walks in the door to the tallest human to the smallest. She’ll make you laugh with her zoomies to making you sleepy with her endless cuddles. She’s definitely a one of a kind dog I unfortunately cannot have her due to me moving :(.

Story
Ginger is a good playful dog. She was born around May of 2024. She is playful and gets along well with all of her 8 other dog pack family. She must be rehomed because of pet limitations in the City of Aransas Pass. She and his brother Granger are buddies and have grown up together. She is also having to be rehomed. She has grown up on about one acre of fenced in yard and is not a climber nor a digger. If she does get out, she always comes back. She lives in an RV with an open door and is house trained. She enjoys the chirping birds and other critters like gophers, lizards, squirrels, and an occasional snake. She is not chain trained and is used to being free in the yard. She should adapt well to a new environment with more one on one attention. She has been recently spayed in February 2024 through the PACC Program and City of Aransas Pass. Her feed schedule is open bowl always filles and water drip bowl. He is generally quiet but will bark at strangers walking by. She is a cuddler!

Sparky is 1.5 years old. He has lived on about one acre of fenced yard. He has grown up in a pack of 9 to 14 dogs. He is well accepted by the pack and is a little on the shy side and but howls with the pack when the police and ambulance go by. He has grown up in an RV with an open door and sleeps indoors or outdoors. He has a bird dog background so does like to chase birds. He does not attack them he just chases. He is not much of a barker but will bark at people walking by to alert. He is a great sleeper and needs more one on one attention. His diet is exclusively Pedigree Dry Steak-Flavored (44lb bags) and eats form an open bowl all day filled feed schedule. His snacks include crackers, chips, popcorn, and French bread, all offered in small pieces. Sometimes he can catch snack in mid-air. He is more reserved than his pack-mates. He was neutered in February of 2025 through the PAAC Program through the City of Aransas Pass. There are 9 d in pack and only 6 are allowed in the city.

Story
Lewis was adopted but returned to us after a few months. He’s a lovable boy that will be best suited for a home with adults, older children and no cats. Lewis suffered from a hematoma several years ago that left him a cauliflower ear. He has chronic issues with his ear that causes him discomfort from time to time. We hope to find Lewis a family that understands this issue and can provide the necessary care when needed. You can meet this handsome fella down at our shelter.
