Story
We found her about a 2 weeks ago and have been caring for her since. She is super sweet but skittish as she is not used to her surroundings. She has not once been aggressive at all. We took her to the vet about 3 days after finding her and she had not chip. We got her up to date on all her shots and got her on a 30 days flea, tick and dewormer medication. The vet estimated her to be about 2 years old. We have called many local shelters and have had no luck in finding her owner and the shelters we have contacted are all full. We refuse to take her to a kill shelter. We have two dogs already and unfortunately just can’t afford to take on a 3rd. Due to her being skittish we definitely want her to go to the right home as it will take time and patience.

Story
Ollie is an beautiful girl, est. to be 5 1/2 months due to her canine teeth that have started to come in. This means she is likely full size and won't grow much more. She is definitely a puppy, with all the puppy energy who is learning new things. Because she was dumped and came from a bad experience being locked up without care, she is slow to warm up, which means 2-3 days. She loves to run in the yard, to play fetch and to chew on her toys. I have brought her to socialize at the Lulling shelter where she loves to play with the other dogs. She tries to play with my cat, who wants nothing to do with her. She can be fearful, so at this time a home without children may be best. She is potty trained, though when I brought her to a friends she did pee on her rug! but at home we have not had accidents. She sleeps 9-10 hrs a night which she loves to do under my covers! She will be spayed next week. She has gained more confidence and is now ready to go to her new home.

Story
My family and I adopted Beau from Austin Animal Center 2 years ago. He is a 3 year old mixed breed, resembling a lab, who loves walks, hanging out in the sun, and cuddling on the couch. He had been getting along great with our other dog, a mini-Aussie, before we introduced 2 kittens into the home. Beau had gotten on well with our old cat who passed last year, but the energy of 2 kittens and a 7 year old human in our small house has proven to be too much for him. We want the best for our dog, Beau, and after much careful deliberation have decided to seek out the quiet home that he deserves where he is the main attraction. He is fully housebroken, crate trained, and he knows a few tricks: sit, down, sit up, stand up, spin, shake, and touch (place). He does great with people when he is out and about, and he loves going to the pet store to try out beds and sniff the shelves. He's a good boy who needs a calmer environment to shine.

I adopted Ginger from Williamson county shelter, she is 4 years old with playful, loving, and gentle personality. I’m looking for a home that can give ginger the time and energy she deserves to live a full happy life. Ginger has never met a stranger(dog or person) and genuinely a sweet sweet girl.

Story
Rehoming our girl due to not being able to keep up with her needs while caring for two new babies. Meet Miss Mary! This 10-year-old beauty is confident, spirited, and thrives under the guidance of a strong, assertive leader who can balance her dominant side. Highly trainable and food motivated, Mary loves challenges and cuddling under a cozy blanket. In robust health, she's enjoyed cross-country road trips, daily walks, and off-leash adventures at dawn in Zilker Park. She's cautious indoors with new people, needing time, space, and no touching, but soon becomes affectionate. Ever vigilant, she alerts you to activity. She doesn't do well in enclosed spaces with other dogs but flourishes in open areas. At home, she snuggles (often butt to butt!) and plays joyfully. We hope to find her a loving forever home soon. She deserves a home where she can continue her adventures and receive all the love she has always given. Please reach out if you’re ready to welcome Mary!
