Story
Ami is one of the sweetest dogs I’ve ever known. You can pick her up like a baby and kiss her nose. She has never been aggressive towards a human of any age. About 2 years ago she became very aggressive towards her older fur sister and they caused severe damage to each other on several occasions so she went to live with a friend and unfortunately they divorced after having her for a year and then they found her a home with another friend of our and they ended up returning her to us due to Ami fighting with their other 2 dogs so they brought her back to us. Unfortunately Ami and he fur sister even after being separated for over a year continue to fight and have caused thousands of dollars in vet bills. Ami needs an experienced owner and one who’s just looking for one dog in the home. She will be the very best pet. She’s soft and has the sweetest face and just wants to lay with you.

Story
Tasha has been a fantastic family dog, easy-going and good tempered. She is patient and gentle with our little one climbing on her and dressing her up. She loves kids and gets so excited when our kids have friends over. She loves attention, likes to cuddle, and sometimes thinks she is a lap dog. She is food/treat motivated and sleeps in a crate at night. She is pretty chill but loves to play fetch and play on the trampoline with the kids. (She can jump really high, so careful of low fences!) Even though she has no anxiety with kids, she has pretty high anxiety with adults and other animals. She is defensive, but not aggressive with new adults, but has shown aggression to other dogs. She has always been the "alpha" between her and her brother but they've always gotten along well, until recently. They've had a few fights and we feel she would be happier in a single dog home where she doesn't have to compete for attention. She may take time to open up but she is a great dog!

Story
She is amazing with kids. Very cuddly and lovable. She is high energy and would do great with someone who wants a running buddy. She barks at other dogs and cats, but has never been aggressive or bitten other animals. She loves chew toys and going on walks. She is a great family dog. If I could keep her I would, unfortunately, I am not allowed to bring her to the place my family will be living.

Story
Kerbey is a goofy 2.5 year old pup who weighs about 60-65 pounds. He is up-to-date on vaccines, neutered, and potty-, kennel-, and leash-trained. Kerbey does take some meds to help with hip dysplasia and anxiety. Kerbey is quite shy and anxious around people, and may howl and bark, though usually wagging his tail the entire time. Around other dogs, Kerbey is so much more confident! When he warms up to you, his favorite way of showing affection is with many, many kisses! He loves his toys, belly rubs, and treats. He does amazing with other animals, and will attempt to play with both dogs and cats. His ideal home would have other dogs to show him the ropes! Unfortunately, his anxiety around people has led to some challenging guarding behaviors. Kerbey originally was a rescue--he's come a long way! He was fostered by a family with dogs, cats, adults, and a baby, and he did great with them. His second and current home consists of two cats, adults, and a foster kitten, whom Kerbey adores.

Luna has been fostered for almost 2 months after being found in the Texas heat. We were unable to find her home and she may have been dumped. She is a sweetie pie, good with kids and other dogs. We estimate she’s around 2yo.

Story
My family and I adopted Beau from Austin Animal Center 2 years ago. He is a 3 year old mixed breed, resembling a lab, who loves walks, hanging out in the sun, and cuddling on the couch. He had been getting along great with our other dog, a mini-Aussie, before we introduced 2 kittens into the home. Beau had gotten on well with our old cat who passed last year, but the energy of 2 kittens and a 7 year old human in our small house has proven to be too much for him. We want the best for our dog, Beau, and after much careful deliberation have decided to seek out the quiet home that he deserves where he is the main attraction. He is fully housebroken, crate trained, and he knows a few tricks: sit, down, sit up, stand up, spin, shake, and touch (place). He does great with people when he is out and about, and he loves going to the pet store to try out beds and sniff the shelves. He's a good boy who needs a calmer environment to shine.
