Story
Melly is a very sweet dog who is full of energy and love. She is 6 years old, and loves her owners. Unfortunately me and my wife had to condense our living situation and we are no longer able to giver her the life she needs. She has fought with our other dog some and gets a little temperamental around her bed and her food. For these reasons we would like to send her to a home that does not have other pets. She really is a very very sweet dog when it is just her and her owner(s), but we just can not give her the life she needs anymore. We love her dearly and we are really really not wanting to send her to a shelter or put her down.

So gentle, goofy, and is great around animals and people. She loves to play with her toys and go on walks. Not fixed or microchipped. House broken and potty trained. Story
Bea was rescued 4 years ago after being hit by a car. She’s a super sweet and lovable dog. She loves to cuddle but always loves some good play time! We estimate she is around 4 1/2 years old as she was less than a year when we adopted her. She is kennel trained and potty trained. She does tend to be shy when meeting new people, specifically men and tends to be more on the submissive side. She has never shown any signs of aggression with people or animals she has been exposed to. Due to the accident previous to being adopted her hips did receive some fractures but very rarely does she show any signs of limping. She is able to walk and run with no issues.

Penny Is a great and loving dog who just wants to be loved she’s sweet and loves her toys she can get a little protective though once new faces show up but nothing a little help can’t fix she is a mom who’s had puppy’s and was also a rescue she is quiet and happy and just once to be loved and played with she is very good with walks but can use some work if needed to get into a car.

Story
(Shots pending) Tilly was a stray I took home. She is extremely vocal and loves to cuddle (aka have her tummy scratched.) She quickly became the alpha dog when she arrived and bosses the other 2 senior dogs around. As with most Chihuahuas, she is loyal to one person and while slow to warm up to others, she eventually does, but with a LOT of vocalization. Tilly consistently uses a potty pad (I put one down initially and she automatically used it without any training.) She is house-trained with a rare #2 accident. She is leash trained, a halter leash works best for her. To get her to come in from the back yard I just have to say: I have something… by the time I say have she has run in. In other words, she enjoys treats immensely. The pic where she is smiling is her first night with me back in 2019.

Story
Finley is being fostered in Rowlett, TX. Finley is actually an Aussie, Bernese Mountain Doodle, 4 months old as of April 17, and will be available for adoption after he recovers from his neuter surgery scheduled April 28. If you have an active lifestyle, this is the perfect dog for you. He loves toys and playing tug of war. He gets the zoomies daily, running from one end of the yard to the other. We are working on house-breaking, and he will go outside during the day on a regular basis. However, he tends to forget his training in the late afternoons and early evenings. We will keep working with him and hopefully be successful before he is ready for adoption. He sleeps in a crate at night from about 10pm until 7am and has not had any accidents while crated. Finley was born with both eyes underdeveloped. He sees fine out of his right eye, but only shadows from the other according to an ophthalmologist. But wait until you see those beautiful, light blue eyes! Also, because of his doodle mix, he doesn't shed at all! BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.
