Story
I adopted Valkyrie from someone on the Nextdoor app. She was in a home where the female dog was bullying her. We brought her in and she was getting along with all of our dogs (two males and one female). Unfortunately, her and my female have started fighting and have become territorial. I'm not sure if it's her or our other female dog. Valkyrie gets along with our males so well. She loves snuggles, playing fetch and running around. Shes good with our cats and our young daughter (age 7). She doesn't do well if she's free inside the house for long periods (like working a typical 8 hour day) but does great in a kennel. She loves being outside and has the energy to run and play. We adopted her on 2/1/25 and wanted to be her forever home so badly. It saddens us to have to find her a new home, but we're just not suited to care for her. With my husband starting a new job where he's gone for weeks at a time, the constant kennel rotation is just too much for me to handle.

Story
We’re looking for the perfect forever home for our sweet boy, Koda. He's a young, high-energy pup with a huge heart and so much love to give. Unfortunately, despite how much we adore him, his energy level is just too much for our household and our smaller, older dog. Koda came into our lives when he was about 6 months old after being abandoned at a young age. We couldn't bear to see him without a home, so we took him in and have done our best to give him a safe, loving place to grow. Now, at 1 1/2 years old, he's thriving, alert, affectionate, and always ready to play. He LOVES cuddles just as much as he loves being active. He’s incredibly smart and very trainable; he just needs someone who can give him the time, consistency, and daily exercise he craves. Walks, playtime, mental stimulation, he’ll shine with a person or family who has the energy to match his! We truly want the best for him, and we know he’ll make an amazing companion in the right environment.

Story
Bea was rescued 4 years ago after being hit by a car. She’s a super sweet and lovable dog. She loves to cuddle but always loves some good play time! We estimate she is around 4 1/2 years old as she was less than a year when we adopted her. She is kennel trained and potty trained. She does tend to be shy when meeting new people, specifically men and tends to be more on the submissive side. She has never shown any signs of aggression with people or animals she has been exposed to. Due to the accident previous to being adopted her hips did receive some fractures but very rarely does she show any signs of limping. She is able to walk and run with no issues.

Story
Blade is a year and half old. He is a mix of lab and a few others. He is full of energy and always looking to play. He needs more attention than we are able to provide him with our busy schedules. He is neutered and caught up on shots. We are looking to move sometime in late spring or early summer and since he is 40lb, he is too big for all the places we have found so far. He has lived with another dog his whole life so he is used to other pets. He loves going on walks, and enjoys playing fetch. Blade plays with smaller children fairly well, he just gets a bit to excited at times and can knocked them over. Blade is house trained but prefers to be out doors more than anything. He is very lovable. He can be quiet when he wants to be. He loves treats especially when he does what is asked of him. Other than that he is a very loving dog and he would make anyone love him as well. He has a crate, leash, collar, some toys and food bowl and a whole bag of dog food that will be going with him.

Story
He was found as a pup at a park in the rain by a friend who was fishing. The day he was found, the vet wouldn’t take him in and the friend couldn’t take em in due to their dog. I was able to watch him for a bit but with my busy schedule, proper training as been hard to do. He’s a super sweet and chill puppy, lots of energy but will be calm when busy. Loves fetch, chew sticks, and cuddles.

Story
Nova was found on the side of a country road in an area where many dogs had been dumped to fend for themselves. She came running up to my husband and hugged his leg. We knew we didn't have the space for another dog long term but we had to give the timid pup a chance to find a loving home. We immediately took her in, treated her fleas, and brought her to our vet for shots and heartworm preventative. We looked into surrendering her to a shelter but we found most places in our area weren't accepting surrenders for a while due to space, so we decided to try rehoming her ourselves! During Novas time with us she's learned her name, decent recall, crate training, sit, and shake. We've discovered she loves chasing balls and squirrels. She's also dog (and chicken) friendly and would thrive in a home that has older kids or another active dog in need of a playmate.
