Story
We adopted a stray in Dec 2023, then discovered that she had 6 fat, healthy puppies hidden away under a shed. We took them all in, but don't have the space/time to properly care for 7 adult dogs. We've tried to adopt them out before they reached adulthood, but no luck. By now they've grown out of their most frustrating puppy traits, like chewing everything to pieces, play-biting, etc, and have matured into much more manageable adult dogs. While we love them so much, they really deserve the one-on-one attention that they crave. Shasta is the largest of the litter, with a bright red coat and a diffuse white stripe across his face. He is an incredibly easy-going guy that gets along well with everyone. He loves to play and nap in the sun. If you're looking for a goofy best-friend, he is eager to be that to someone. *Has never attacked a cat, but will need to be trained not to chase them.

While we love them so much, they really deserve the one-on-one attention that they crave. Biscuit is the second largest, with a tan/yellow coat and a clear white stripe across his nose and down his head. He is very smart and attentive, definitely a personality that lends itself to training very well. He's playful, goofy, curious, and affectionate. Biscuit wants to be a loyal companion to someone that can spend time with him. He can be a little annoying to dogs that have strict boundaries. Does best with easy-going, playful dogs. *Has never attacked a cat, but will need to be trained not to chase them.

Story
My family and I adopted Beau from Austin Animal Center 2 years ago. He is a 3 year old mixed breed, resembling a lab, who loves walks, hanging out in the sun, and cuddling on the couch. He had been getting along great with our other dog, a mini-Aussie, before we introduced 2 kittens into the home. Beau had gotten on well with our old cat who passed last year, but the energy of 2 kittens and a 7 year old human in our small house has proven to be too much for him. We want the best for our dog, Beau, and after much careful deliberation have decided to seek out the quiet home that he deserves where he is the main attraction. He is fully housebroken, crate trained, and he knows a few tricks: sit, down, sit up, stand up, spin, shake, and touch (place). He does great with people when he is out and about, and he loves going to the pet store to try out beds and sniff the shelves. He's a good boy who needs a calmer environment to shine.

Story
He is a very loving dog who always wants to be cuddling and lay right next to you. He has a lot of energy and loves to run and play. He can also be very lazy and want to just lay and look out the window. He gets excited around other dogs and just wants to play but sometimes can be very excited around others. Otherwise he is sweet and cuddly and just wants to play and get scratches and cuddles

Story
Her life-long human is in hospice & sweet Rennie needs a retirement home! Rennie is 15, 43 lbs, with a sociable nature. She is friendly with adult humans & when younger was a very energetic dog (sometimes dog reactive); she’s now calmer & quieter. She’s on a low-protein diet for early-stage kidney disease (large quantity provided). She still enjoys short walks & healthy snacks, & loves being around people. Her crate is her cozy refuge. Because of the kidney disease Rennie needs to have opportunities to pee every few hours (at night she can go up to 6 hours). She's had consistent veterinary care & is up to date on her shots. Rennie comes with her crate, new bed, special food, leash & harness, & heartworm pills. She has stayed calm & friendly despite many changes & new folks in the house; we think she will do well with new people. She will enjoy living with adults (no young children), & will need to be the only animal in the home. Can you give this sweet old girl a happy new home?
