Story
Spike was our neighbors dog, that lived next to the property my kids live at. He lived on a 15 foot chain attached to his dog house. The neighbors fed him but never played with him. They asked my kids to watch him for a few days and never returned and then finally called and said they were not coming back to get him. We put him on a 75 foot dog run and bought him toys since the yard is not fenced. It took a him about a week to figure it all out but it has been a joy to see him come alive and learn to play. However we cannot keep him and are trying to find him a good loving home. My kids are expecting their first child soon and just not in a situation to keep him. He is a loving dog but still learning the basics of playing, coming to his name, and learning commands.

Story
Loki is 3 years old. He is energetic, friendly, and affectionate. Sadly he does not get along with young children and we are expecting a child. He does not get along with large dogs either. He is an inside dog but enjoys running around in the yard. He loves squeaky toys. He's ideal for a family with older children, around 8 y/o+, or no children at all.

Story
He is a large size breed (70-80 lbs), possibly a black/tan hound mix? He is 6 years old. He is mostly chill and loves laying around. He leads with his nose and goes wherever it takes him, sometimes getting into things he shouldn't get into. He sometimes doesn't understand how big he is and thinks he is a lap dog. He will definitely need a fenced in yard or somewhere that he can run around safely in. He has been a half inside, half outside dog. He is neutered, and has been good with both cats and other dogs when introduced slowly. He has been good with children.

Story
We got Lucy at an adopt a pet event. We have had her for about a year. She is about a year and a half years old. We feel like we cannot give her the attention she deserves. She has been mostly an outside dog, but we put her in our garage in a crate in the evenings to stay warm or cool. She has been through a training session and will come, lay down/sit, go to her place. We still work with her to improve on these as much as we can. She walks on a leash well. Still working on not jumping when people come over. Never aggressive; just excited puppy energy.

Story
Nugget and his brother were dumped at an apartment complex, left to fend for themselves. One of the residents reached out via social media for help and I offered to take them (she later decided to adopt the brother). Nugget is 7-8 months old, 40 lbs., fully vetted/neutered, and ready to find his forever people! He gets along famously with my pack (4 large dogs) - he can hold his own! He plays hard but loves snuggle time with his person on the couch. He is crate trained (although he will sometimes let you know he isn't happy about it). We are working on housetraining (about 90% there) and he has started ringing the bell on the door when he wants out. His leash manners need work - I have a fenced yard so not a lot of need for leashing but we are working on it along with basic manners. I don't require an adoption fee but I do require references with one being from a vet; located in mid-TN but willing to arrange travel for right home. He is great puppy and deserves his happily ever after!
