Story
Daphne is a sweet loving large dog that enjoys playing with toys and lounging around. I got her at a pet shelter and she was neglected and under weight, which she is now very healthy and perfect. Her age is unknown, but the shelter thought she was around 4 to 5 and I have had her for almost a year. She does not like cats, but gets along with all dogs and she is around many. She would do best in a home with lots of attention and kids, no cats though she does not like them.

Story
Anubis was raised from a puppy by my grandson. He is six years old. My grandson has two children. An 18 month old girl and a 4 month old boy. Anubis has always been good with them. In May of 2024 their home in Irondale Ohio was hit by a tornado and destroyed. They lived with me and my husband and at times in an RV. It was a very difficult time because his wife was pregnant with their second child. Both children were born premature and needed to be in NICU. They are low income as it has been difficult for my grandson to find work. He has some mild disabilities. My husband and I have helped with Anubis as much as we can but he is a large dog and we are in our 70’s. Anubis is too strong for us. My husband and I are not able to walk him and he needs exercise. My husband has dementia and his toes amputated. We have Anubis because my grandson and his family moved to a mobile home park that does not allow dogs with pit bull mix. Anubis is pit bull lab mix. Anubis is crate trained and seldom.

Story
Obi is a wonderful 7 year old dog who would thrive in a small family that can provide her with plenty of love and attention. While she struggles with anxiety, it significantly improves when she’s with her family. However, over the past two years, she has become unpredictable around our other dogs. We believe that finding Obi a new, loving home where she can be the center of attention would be the best option for her happiness and well-being.

Story
We adopted Oreo from the local dog warden after he had been there for 8 months or so. He is a friendly, playful dog. They estimated him to be 3 to 4 years old, and a bully mix of some kind. We believe he may be some mix of boxer and heeler but it's just a guess. Oreo is the sweetest, happiesth boy. He is great with our children but has displayed concerning food aggression towards our very young grandchild and we do not want the behavior to escalate and end in injury as training is not a financial option. Oreo very rarely has accidents, and does ok on a leash. He does pull a bit with a collar but less so with a harness. He doesn't bark often, and greets visitors in a friendly manner. He would probably be best in a household with older children. We were told he is dog selective but we have no other pets. He has barked at the neighborhood cats but playfully, and we are not sure how he would interact with one in the home.

(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Goose was born in Nevada in January 26, 2017. He has been an excellent companion his whole life. He is the best of both worlds: willing to have fun outdoors and also able to calmly rest indoors. He is well behaved when left home alone, even for a long work shift and never gets on the counters or in the trash can. Goose knows basic commands and knows the difference between his toys and children's stuffed animals. He absolutely adore cats, although he can come on a little strong sometimes. Our situation has changed due to a loss of job, and we have had to downsize our home. Goose is unhappy with his lack of space, and we will not have the opportunity to upsize again during his lifetime. We are hoping for a family or individual that has a house and yard so that Goose can live out the rest of his golden years the way he deserves to. He has always been healthy, but I want to ensure he has proper care in the future. Rehoming him pains us badly, but his well-being is the most important thing.
