Gaia is the sweetest baby. She will follow you around all day and love on you. She is great with kids. She is good with female dogs but male dogs she tends to not like. She looks a little rough with her wire hair but she wins you over with the sweetest personality.

Story
Izzy came to me through a friend who had found her, shes been with us for several years. Shes very protective & loving. She gets along well with my other dog... shes not been around children very much. Im having a problem keeping her inside our fenced yard she is like an escape artist which is causing problems.. I believe Izzy is around 5 - 6 years old.

Story
Almost three years ago, I got Freddie from the New Hanover Humane Society when he was only a few weeks old. He will be three years old in January. He has really been my best friend ever since. Freddie is incredibly well trained and is an overall amazing dog. He loves to play, he loves to run, and he loves to follow me around everywhere. However, due to some recent life changes, I am planning for an unexpected big move soon, and I, unfortunately, cannot bring Freddie with me. I would prefer for his new home to have a big yard, as he loves to run around, and he is super energetic. As well, he does have some anxiety, so someone who is home relatively often would be preferred. I'm usually gone during the day though, and he does fine with a long morning and night walk. I'm really just looking for someone to love him and take good care of him-- he's a great dog, and he deserves all the love. (I'm less concerned about the adoption fee and more concerned about finding him a home in time)

Story
Willow is an 8 year old female. I adopted her from the pound in 2018. Her papers said she’s an Alaskan Malamute mix. She is spayed, UTD on shots (minus bordetella as she’s never been boarded/kept at a kennel). She’s also microchipped. She gets along with other dogs but prefers to be a loner. She is the sweetest loyal dog you will ever meet. Unfortunately we need to rehome her due to her increased separation anxiety. She had it when we adopted her but I believe it’s gotten worse with her age. I’m currently pregnant and my husband will be going on a year long deployment so she won’t be able to get the attention she needs. You must have a 6ft fence or she will jump it and run off. She must be crated if being left alone or she will either destroy things/the house or escape the house. She doesn’t do well on a leash. She is very strong and constantly pulls. She’s been on medication for anxiety and we’ve worked with her to the best of our ability but we feel she needs more than we can provide
