I am giving away my 4 year old pitbull mix Alex. I feel as though i can no longer take care of her well enough. She is extremely sweet and cuddly, she has zero bite history she is potty trained and she overall is a very sweet dog. She’s never be around small children but i can all but guarantee she would be nice. She’s located for pick up in Fletcher. North Carolina.

Story
Hi, my name is Gooseberry. I am about 6-7 months old. I weigh 40 pounds and am still growing. My foster parents found me starving on the street with a rope too tight on my neck. I was all skin and bones. I ran right up to my foster dad and when he picked me up, I instantly relaxed in his arms and slept. I love to be held and carried like a big baby. I love to sleep in bed at night with my humans, and will sleep like a log. I am very high energy and need lots of toys, hikes/walks and mental stimulation like kongs, licky mats, food puzzles, and games to earn treats. My foster siblings (pets) don’t accept my high energy as I’m still learning not to jump and be pushy about play. They’re old. I want to play but I also get hyper and have a hard time slowing down and respecting space when the animals don’t want to play. I will do best with a home without animals so I can improve my focus and practice my training a bit more. I do have an interest in training for polite play.
