Story
Reyla is a sweet and relatively calm 4 year old mixed breed. I adopted her at 8 weeks. I have been battling lupus and I just can't care for her like she deserves. She takes a little time to warm up to strangers, but is super friendly. She doesn't jump or play too rough. She is used to kids, cats, and other dogs. She is very healthy and loves walks.

Story
He can be shy at first around new people, but when out of his shell he has a great, goofy personality. He loves playing with other dogs and toys. He LOVES a comfy, fluffy bed of his own. Unfortunately I am moving and will not be able to bring him with me. In a new home I am looking for someone with the genuine love and care for pets the same way I have. He deserves the best of friends.

Story
It’s with great sadness that I am looking for a loving home for my sweet boy. Ten year old Niko is great with people and children. He has not been socialized with other dogs; he sometimes gets along and sometimes doesn’t. He is well-behaved - follows and understands commands, does not chew or destroy anything or generally jump on anyone. He is good on a leash but can be a barker. We love him so much but changes in the home have made it difficult to care for him.

Story
My boy is a very good boy. He was a pandemic puppy & I messed up and didn't socialize him enough. He had a few bad experiences & now is constantly anxious and untrusting of the world. We have moved a lot, and he has not had consistency. He needs someone with experience & can help fund fear aggression therapy. Because of his reactions, I have also taken him out less and less; he is not used to people other than a select few. I am sad to let him go, but he needs someone who can provide the stimulation he needs & get him the help he needs. He can sit, lay, paw, kiss, leave it, spin, get up, and get off. He is potty trained and will kiss you intensely to communicate he needs to go. He absolutely loves to run and must be with someone who is active. He craves a lot of stimulation and needs new scenery or interaction to fight boredom and depression. He loves to chase, be chased, play keep away, and tug-a-war. Very food motivated, great at non-verbal communication, and will love to be near you

Millie

Mutt

Female, Senior
Durham, NC
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Needs special attention, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Millie is 12 y/o and suffers from arthritis in her hips, which makes stairs difficult. We have a 2 story home and 3 small children and our life is very busy, which means she doesn’t get the love and attention she needs/deserves. The ideal home for her would be one where there are no stairs and someone is home most of the time, as all she really wants to do is snuggle and take a few short walks. She is very anxious, and due to the increased pain caused by going up and down stairs, and the chaos of 3 small children running around, she is currently on medication for anxiety and pain. She has many years of love left to give provided she’s in the right environment, and unfortunately that’s not with us. Happy to do a meet and greet any time!
