Story
Bear is a sweetheart who enjoys calm environments. She turned 13 years old this past April, but maintains the health and energy of a puppy, between plenty of naps, of course. She loves to keep good company and is content to spend time in simple ways. She occasionally gets the zoomies, but primarily has a mellow disposition. We adopted her from the SPCA when she was 7 years old and have enjoyed our time together. Upon the arrival of our first child a year ago, we are sad to understand that constant company with children is something that is stressful for her. She will do well as company to a family without other pets unless they are larger dogs. She also seems to prefer much older children into their young teen years, than younger children who can startle her. She is extremely smart and learns quickly. She loves healthy snacks like carrots but prefers them with ranch. She is a kind and loyal companion who would love to spend her final years in a peaceful home.

Story
Beautiful “Bogue” is looking for love and adventure! Named after the Bogue Inlet in the coastal NC area where we grew up, he is a 2.5 year old Norwegian Elkhound mix with just the best brown spots, "mascara eyes" (as we lovingly call them), and the softest ears that give him character! Loves to get the “zoomies” in the backyard, does well with baths, and just wants to be with his family. He is snuggly and loving to his core family. Bogue is seeking a partner for life…he needs a kind, patient, compassionate, firm leader. He is going to commit himself back to you 110% and is very close-knit in his relationships with his “Pack”. We are no longer able to provide him the attention, exercise, and training he deserves...someone who understands and is willing to work with his excitement, as well as reactive fears, of other dogs and new people. Bogue is best friend material. He will attach closely to one or a couple of people and will stay loyal to them!

Story
Harley is looking for her forever home! She is approx. 6-8 months old, 45lbs, and plays well with others (dogs, people, kids). Harley is such a sweet girl, she just wants someone to love her. She is a curious yet submissive pup. She would do best in a home with other dogs and no apartment living. Harley's story: Harley was found roaming around an apartment building. She escaped from the finder but the finder saw her the next day in a neighboring property. When the finder approached the owner of the property, he confirmed he was the owner but didn't want her so he grabbed her by the neck and threw her in the finder's car.. Despite living in a loveless environment for however long, she has so much love to give. Please consider adopting Harley. She is being fostered without rescue support so her exposure to getting adopted is limited.
