Story
River has been our pet for the past 5 years. He has been a great companion. He was rescued from the hills of West Virginia when he was 1 year old or so. He is a great running partner, cuddler, and overall has a great demeanor. He is so so with other dogs. He is significantly calmer when in a single dog household. He is very protective of anything he thinks he should have with other pets, and will bit randomly over food or toys. He is not necessarily aggressive just to be aggressive every time he sees another dog, it is food/toy/treat situational. We have to rehome him because he bit my son a few weeks ago. If backed in to corner and scared/Corrected very sternly he can lash out. It has to be an extreme situation that scares him, but this happened, and we can no longer trust him with my son alone, and he is there alone with him frequently. It breaks our heart to have to rehome him, but we have no choice. Non pet or child homes only please. While rare it is not worth the risk

Story
Holly was found as a stray in Union county she has a litter of puppies that was born inside the shelter. The shelter asked for help and we took on the challenge. Holly and her puppies have thrived and now its time for Holly to find her forever home. Holly wants to be with her person all the time and does experience some separation anxiety. So someone that works from home or retired would be the best fit for Holly. Holly can jump a 5 foot fence so she could never be left alone outside. Holly appears to house broken and crate trained.
