Mutt Australian Cattle Dog

Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Roach is a young heeler mix rescue. He spent a large part of his puppyhood in a cage without proper socialization before we got him, so he needs some work getting used to public settings/new people. He does great with those coming into the house if they sit on the couch and meet him, but is wary in public. He is house trained, working on muzzle training, and his vocabulary expands quickly. He is great for nail trims, will give you his paw and sits still. Accustomed to having his teeth brushed. Very high energy, loves to play fetch, enjoys training. He has made great progress with leash manners. We are rehoming Roach due to career changes giving us very little time for his energy needs, and with maturity he has developed a strong prey drive towards my cat. He grew up around children, is gentle with them, but gets excitable/likes to chase, so may be better suited for older children. He is very affectionate, always wants to be near his people, knows many commands. Comes w/ bowls/bed/crate

Story
This little cutie was being given away outside of Lowe’s with her siblings. We have been fostering her and her brother since she was 6 weeks old hoping to find her a home. She is extremely sweet, submissive, and people focused. She is up to date on her shots, gets along with our dogs, and would be an amazing addition a loving home. We were told she is a pointer/chihuahua/pit mix and the vet expects her to reach no more than 25 pounds.

Not good with kids, Good with dogs, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
He was adopted by the Family March 2023 after his neutering surgery. He was foster the weeks prior to the surgery by the family of 4 – 2 kids mom and dad. He was very mellow on initial meeting, but he was recovering from a Parvo infection as well. This dog is a survivor. He had a rough beginning, at the time of adoption we were told that he was surrendered with his litter mates and he has signs of abuse – broken rib and broken tail. Base on reactions to children we believe he may have been hurt by a child or male. We have spent >1.5 yr getting to know him and earning his trust. He has a lot of energy and needs time outside to run. He has daily walks 1-2 time per day 0.5 – 1 mile at a time. He is good hiker and has done as long at 3 mile hike. He is a snuggler and will cuddle in on his own time. He enjoys his own kids on his own time. He enjoys playing fetch and getting rubs. When he is done he will let you know with a growl warning. He does show signs of separation anxiety.
