Chase is an incredibly intelligent and sweet dog. We pulled him from a neglectful home, but unfortunately we cannot keep him for long due to allergies. He's housetrained and understands most of your basic commands. He's performed exceptionally well with our beagle at home and is very loving.

Story
Wall-E is the doggo's name. He is a mastiff mix and there has been a lot of conversation about what he is mixed with, our vet doesn't think pitt, but we have heard boxer and lab. He is great with children of all ages, doesn't require much exercise - he is lazy in that mastiff manner, and makes a GREAT guard dog. Note that Wall-E was a stray for an undetermined amount of time before being taken to the shelter. He does resource protect his food against other ANIMALS but he is always fed in his crate. He doesn't love sharing toys as he will resource protect those from other ANIMALS too, but only NEW toys. Please understand Wall-E has never shown signs of aggression towards humans. Best in a single dog only home. He doesn't care about cats unless near food two blankets, large crate, toys, food & preventatives. his adoption fee will be donated to animal rescue

Roach

Mutt Australian Cattle Dog

Male, Young
Salisbury, NC
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Roach is a young heeler mix rescue. He spent a large part of his puppyhood in a cage without proper socialization before we got him, so he needs some work getting used to public settings/new people. He does great with those coming into the house if they sit on the couch and meet him, but is wary in public. He is house trained, working on muzzle training, and his vocabulary expands quickly. He is great for nail trims, will give you his paw and sits still. Accustomed to having his teeth brushed. Very high energy, loves to play fetch, enjoys training. He has made great progress with leash manners. We are rehoming Roach due to career changes giving us very little time for his energy needs, and with maturity he has developed a strong prey drive towards my cat. He grew up around children, is gentle with them, but gets excitable/likes to chase, so may be better suited for older children. He is very affectionate, always wants to be near his people, knows many commands. Comes w/ bowls/bed/crate

Story
Millie is a smart and sweet one year old pup. She is a pleaser and wants you to be proud of her. She can sit, stay, and play fetch. She showed up at our house but seems to have had an owner. She was house and crate trained. We updated her shots and paid for a heartworm shot, good for one year. She was not spayed, but we are spaying her Tuesday. We have three older dogs and a cat. For the first two weeks, they were fine. Then, when she felt at home, she became aggressive with them. She has not been aggressive with people, but I would not recommend her for anyone with small children or planning to have children one day just in case. She really means well and would make a wonderful pet for someone. She has a lot of love to give.
