My name is BoyBoy and I'm about 4 yrs old. I'm friendly but shy. Ive been around cats and dogs forever and never had a problem. I'm just wanting a loving home that can be full of cuddles because I'm a little needy but it's just because I love so much.

Story
Jessie is the sweetest dog you will ever meet! She loves people, and is very smart. She is an excellent pet and companion. She has not had any formal training and would need some up front work, but she is used to going on pee pads indoors. She has lived her whole life with our elderly mother who wasn't consistent with letting her outdoors. Sadly, she has knocked our 82 year old mother over a few times (not Jessie's fault) and is becoming a risk to her health. We already have 4 animals and unfortunately don't have the ability to take on Jessie ourselves, but we are committed to finding her a good home.

Story
A one-year-old dog that is very high energy and does not do well with other dogs. He is a very anxious dog and will bark and growl at anyone he doesn't know. He does very well at the vet, and he likes going to them. He does best in indoor settings with people and no other animals and is bothered by strangers in the house. Outside, he is anxious around people and is very reactive to other dogs, to the point of barking at them. Despite being anxious about the unknown, he seems to love fireworks and wants to go outside to watch them. He's very energetic and can do some puzzles to work for his food. He's working on walking outside. Mainly because he's cautious of new things. Inside, the house tends to be calm, although he will occasionally run around the house when he becomes energetic. He does not have separation anxiety. He loves playing fetch and chasing after frisbees. He can be very obedient, but it takes patience. This dog is very active and loves to run on his walks when he can.

Story
Obie is 3-year-old terrier mix (about 20lb). He is a sweet, loving, funny, super smart dog in need of a home where he can be loved as much as he loves others. Anyone lucky enough to spend time with Obie absolutely adores his big, quirky personality but Obie suffers from anxiety - including separation anxiety - which leads to reactivity &resource guarding of people &spaces from other dogs. Despite training and meds, he attacks his brother dog, making the home unsafe and unpleasant for both of them. Obie would be happiest in a calm home in a quiet area with only adults (no dogs, no kids), where someone is home most of the time. He would love a yard. Obie also needs a human that will take care of his anxiety needs, including giving him meds & helping him with his separation anxiety. Obie is a sweet, cuddly dog who loves giving kisses & getting belly rubs and he will make someone very happy. He brings his human so much joy and she is heartbroken about letting him go. (Will donate fee).

Mamacita's basic bio is below, but we maintain more detailed information about each of our animals on our website, which is also always up to date with animals removed immediately once they are adopted. Please visit Mamacita's page on our site (https://www.muddypawsrescue.org/adoptable?dog=005846) to learn even more about Mamacita! Additionally, please note that the breed listed for Mamacita is just our best guess based on the dog's physical features. We cannot make any guarantees about the accuracy of our guesses. PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO VOLUME, WE ARE GENERALLY UNABLE TO RESPOND TO INQUIRIES MADE USING THE 'ASK ABOUT ME' BUTTON. Please reach out to us directly using the contact information on our website: www.muddypawsrescue.org. Mamacita is a perfect land manatee that reminds everyone that it is OK to not be in a hurry. She loves being out in the world, so much so that she will bark into the air to say "hello world!" as she is walking down the sidewalk. She loves meeting everyone, including people, kids, dogs, cats, and will even walk up to pigeons to find out what they are doing. She has a hop in her step when we are heading out for walks, but will slow down tremendously when it looks like we are headed in the direction of home, and will sometimes stall by making friends with people at outdoor cafés. Mamacita is a whole different dog from when we first took her in, and is so very happy all the time. She takes medicine for her Addison's Disease (which will be fully covered by a grant) and monthly arthritis medication, so she is thriving and taking it all in stride. The best news? -- 15/10 Foundation is now sponsoring Mama and will cover the costs of the medication for her Addison's Disease for whoever adopts her! Mama is still not very interested in wrestling with her foster sister, but she is a pro at unstuffing a stuffy. She initially appeared to be deaf, or very, very hard of hearing, but that makes life in a chaotic city pretty easy. However, she is now starting to respond to noises as her health has improved, so that might be remediated at some point. She knows basic commands given to her visually, is always looking at you to follow your cues, and always waits patiently for food and treats, even if others are getting them first. While she is super excited for mealtimes, she will sit and wait until given the ok to dig in. She prefers to be surrounded by people and other pets even if she's just laying down while chaos ensues.

It is impossible to know her and not to fall deeply in love with her. She knows many commands, such as sit, stay, paw, turn, and come. She has an amazing vocabulary too. Her favorite word is "treat." Nova adores people. If she thinks someone is going to leave her, she will run to the door and try to block their egress. However, she is more than capable of entertaining herself. She is happy to sleep on her own bed or in her crate. However, if you give her the okay, she will gladly jump on the couch and be your weighted blanket. She is a big puppy who plays throughout the day. She likes puzzle toys, playing tug of war, and throwing stuffed animals in the air. Nova is joy to be around. I feel lucky to have her as my foster dog. She truly brings me joy every single day.
