Story
Callie is a very sweet and fun 2 year old mixed breed. She weighs about 30 pounds. She is very social and loves to be around people and kids (I'm not sure about little kids but I know she is fine with children 4 and up.) Lots of personality! She is house broken and rings a bell on the door to go outside. She gets along well with 2 cats in the house and loves to play. Her favorite toys are stuffed toys, especially lambies. She loves to fetch, walks and likes to go to the dog park. She is on the small size so can get timid around a group of big dogs but plays well with the smaller ones. Not a chewer. She is still Kennel trained and likes to sleep in the kennel under covers and is content to be kenneled when people are visiting though mostly I don't have to do that because she mixes so well. I am older and am having difficulty walking her due to physical issues. I'm torn up about letting her go because she is such a fun and good dog.

Story
Queenie is approximately 2 1/2 years old. She has the sweetest curly-q tail and the perfect pink with black spotted toe beans. She is high energy and loves to play. She knows some commands and is quick to learn more. Queenie is loyal and eager to please her people. She gives the best snuggles. Queenie's favorite game is fetch and she actually brings the ball back. She needs a home that can meet her energy level. She definitely has an instinct for herding small critters. She is a bit timid at times and startles easily when touched from behind. She will need time to adjust to her new home. Her experiences while a puppy are unknown.

Story
Meet Darla – Your Future Best Friend! Darla has come a long way in just a few short months and is now ready to find her forever family! This sweet and spunky girl was once a shy, scared pup, but she's blossomed into a confident, outgoing companion who’s always ready for her next adventure. Darla is smart, agile, and loves to be the center of attention, especially when her people are giving her affection. She makes the cutest little happy grunts when she’s being loved on – it’s impossible not to smile! She’s a big fan of squeaky toys, chew bones, comfy beds, and, of course, treats. Walks and playtime are her favorite activities, and she absolutely adores her visits to doggie daycare, where she’s a perfect playmate for dogs of all sizes. Darla is energetic and spunky with the big dogs but gentle and sweet with her smaller friends. Darla would love to have a canine companion in her forever home to keep up with her playful nature and share in her adventures. She thrives in a routine and is crate trained and housebroken. Darla would do best in a home without cats or small animals, and she’s ready to be your loving, loyal sidekick. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, happy, and affectionate dog who’s always up for an adventure, Darla might just be the perfect match for you! If you are looking for an expert cuddly buddy and are able to handle this much cuteness, fill out an application today!

Story
I adopted Groot from APA Brentwood about 4 or 5 months ago. Our time together has been wonderful- filled with hikes, adventures, play time, training, and cuddles. I didn't know about his past, but they told me he was good with cats, and oh boy has that been true! He loves cats :) I have an adult cat and a kitten and he is absolutely gentle around them and knows that they are in charge of the house. Unfortunately, I am being worked up for an autoimmune disorder. Between my frequent time spent at the hospital and increasing stress/responsibility in my own personal life, I am unable to keep Groot. Groot is a lovebug towards his family and friends. He is wary of strangers and does not like new people entering his territory. Anyone that adopts him would have to vow to socialize him and accustom him to people coming in and out of the house. He barks at visitors, and charges the door. After he realizes he doesn't get rewarded for that behavior he is calm and wants love.

Story
I’m a big ball of energy, I’m also really scared of everything. My name is pancake. My kennel is my safe space though I would rather not lay in there anymore. I’m good with kids. I can go potty on a leash, well house, trained, and like to go on walks, but could use some training. New people scare me. I bark pretty much bark a lot at new things that scare me but trust I am and can be a good dog. I can’t wait to meet my new family.
