Story
Louie is a high energy, sweet, four-year-old female dog. We recently had a baby and are finding it extremely difficult to give her the time and level of attention she needs to truly thrive. While we don't know Louie's mix, we suspect she has some Black Mouth Cur in her. Everyone who meets her on the street says she looks like Scooby Doo! We've had her since she was 7 weeks old. Louie loves long walks in the park and to chase the ball or frisbee and is happiest destroying toys. Her exposure to children has been minimal and she would be best suited to remain in an adults-only living situation. Since she was about 13 weeks old, Louie has been trained and continues to spend time with her trainer. While she has a strong personality, she knows all the basic obedience commands and is especially good at the "climb" command. She does well with a confident, calm handler and would love someone who can commit to long walks and vigorous play sessions.

Story
Darcy is a mix breed dog that is about 6 months old. Darcy was left tied to my fence with a sign that says free dog. Darcy has been living with a Chihuahua and an elderly Pittbull. Unfortunately she is too hyper for my cats I took in from feral and they moved themselves to the basement. Darcy knows to go to her kennel when she sees me getting ready to leave the house. She will make someone a wonderful companion with a little more training. She is too smart for her own good sometimes. I really want to find her the perfect home. Right now my two dogs need a more calm environment because they get annoyed by the her. Please someone open up your hearts to take this sweet girl.

Story
Dre is approximately three to four years old. He is extremely intelligent, and very active. He loves to swim and car rides. He is very protective. He is very small prey driven. He is fast and can and will run anything down so this is an area of concern. He does not like cats; he lives with two and is constantly going after them. He also lives with four other dogs, he is fine with them as long as they realize he is alpha. He will be an awesome dog to have in a one pet home. He is loyal and loves attention, he talks, and he is great when out in public on a leash. I love Dre, I adopted him three years ago from animal control. He just needs less animals in his home. He is a good dog, but a lot to handle with other animals that he likes to dominate. Please someone give this guy a chance!

Story
Dahlia is a very sweet sweet pup that the whole family adores. Everyone in the family except my 13-year-old toy poodle. We were hoping when we took her in that he would lead her and she quickly has overpowered him in strength and likes to play. She is an energetic pup that likes to tug and pull and our poodle is just too old to play or fight her off. Dahlia was born Jan 5 2024 with a trusted friend who took in a stray. We don’t know her breed but she has short hair, doesn’t shed much at all, and has a beautiful shiny black and white coat. She has floppy short ears and is about 30 pounds. She’s a very healthy girl who likes to run and play and also like to snuggle and give kisses. Great with toddlers and big kids however she likes to jump. She has had typical interactions with other dogs in town. We have not seen her around cats. Dahlia’s perfect family is one with kids and other dogs her size or bigger. Big yard is a big plus. She doesn’t like the leash but tolerates it.
