Story
Queenie is approximately 2 1/2 years old. She has the sweetest curly-q tail and the perfect pink with black spotted toe beans. She is high energy and loves to play. She knows some commands and is quick to learn more. Queenie is loyal and eager to please her people. She gives the best snuggles. Queenie's favorite game is fetch and she actually brings the ball back. She needs a home that can meet her energy level. She definitely has an instinct for herding small critters. She is a bit timid at times and startles easily when touched from behind. She will need time to adjust to her new home. Her experiences while a puppy are unknown.

Story
I adopted Groot from APA Brentwood about 4 or 5 months ago. Our time together has been wonderful- filled with hikes, adventures, play time, training, and cuddles. I didn't know about his past, but they told me he was good with cats, and oh boy has that been true! He loves cats :) I have an adult cat and a kitten and he is absolutely gentle around them and knows that they are in charge of the house. Unfortunately, I am being worked up for an autoimmune disorder. Between my frequent time spent at the hospital and increasing stress/responsibility in my own personal life, I am unable to keep Groot. Groot is a lovebug towards his family and friends. He is wary of strangers and does not like new people entering his territory. Anyone that adopts him would have to vow to socialize him and accustom him to people coming in and out of the house. He barks at visitors, and charges the door. After he realizes he doesn't get rewarded for that behavior he is calm and wants love.

Story
Louie is a high energy, sweet, four-year-old female dog. We recently had a baby and are finding it extremely difficult to give her the time and level of attention she needs to truly thrive. While we don't know Louie's mix, we suspect she has some Black Mouth Cur in her. Everyone who meets her on the street says she looks like Scooby Doo! We've had her since she was 7 weeks old. Louie loves long walks in the park and to chase the ball or frisbee and is happiest destroying toys. Her exposure to children has been minimal and she would be best suited to remain in an adults-only living situation. Since she was about 13 weeks old, Louie has been trained and continues to spend time with her trainer. While she has a strong personality, she knows all the basic obedience commands and is especially good at the "climb" command. She does well with a confident, calm handler and would love someone who can commit to long walks and vigorous play sessions.

Story
Mia is a sweet girl! She was found neglected in Washington MO, skinny and covered in ticks. We took her in and have had her for about 8.5 years (she is 9 years old). We have 3 kids, another dog and looking for a home where she can get more love and attention. Mia loves to cuddle, she is good with kids, very fast and a great guard dog. She can be food aggressive with other dogs, but we feed ours separately which works fine. No other concerns or problems!

Story
Noodle is a playful, affectionate dog who we have loved sharing our lives with for 4 years. Noodle knows all her basic commands, and a couple more fancy ones! She is fully house trained and will let you know when she needs to go outside. She is crate trained but non-destructive so she hasn't used her crate in a while. She loves getting her zoomies out in the yard or on walks in the park. The girl loves a walk with a long leash away from other pups! :) She will show you her belly for belly rubs, give signature excited a-woo-woo-woos, and lick your face and ears as long as you'll let her. While she can be playful, Noodle also usually wants to be curled up on her fluffy dog bed or her spot on the couch. Unfortunately, it has become obvious, after professional training and trying different living situations, that Noodle is an anxious girl who needs to be an only pet. We love her dearly and and want the best for her. We look forward to chatting more about our sweet pup with you.
