Story
We found each other 3 years ago and he was estimated to be about 3 at the time. Right away we could tell he hadn't been treated as well as he deserves but he is so loving and sweet that he stole our hearts. He has come a long way. We have a child now and James isn't ok anymore. We aren't able to train him as well as he wants/needs to. He's so willing to follow every command (with treats to start, of course) he learns. He has bitten a small child and our hearts are destroyed. He is such a good boy otherwise and deserves someone who can give him the time he needs. All he wants to do is please, chase the ball, and then snuggle when the day is done. He is not kennel trained and prefers to sleep under the covers with his human. He gets nervous in new places and will probably have a couple accidents at the beginning until he learns the routine. He doesn't do well when alone but having plenty of balls and bones to chew around helps. He deserves someone with a huge heart.

Story
Rudy lives in a home with three kids and has never shown aggression towards my children. He is also good with my other two dogs in the home. However, he becomes aggressive with dogs he doesn’t know and has pinned 4 dogs in the last two years. He doesn’t injure them, but will pin them by the neck and not release. We had him on leash for all these occasions, but unfortunately encountered dogs that weren’t leashed. We adopted him when he was two and he was homeless, so not sure about the first two years of his life. We are scared to walk him now and think he needs someone more educated to help with his aggression towards other dogs. He’s very friendly and sweet with all humans

Story
Fat Mama is a fixed 4 year old female. Not sure of her breed, but pet fixers paperwork says American bulldog & vet paperwork says large mix breed. She is a big girl, about 120 lbs at her last vet visit. Would probably do best in a house with no other pets, in the country or with a fenced in yard, as she is used to being able to go in and out. Hasn't spent much time on a leash other than to vet visits. Really sweet girl who loves attention, but has started showing aggression towards our other pets that seems to stem out of jealousy. Very food motivated & is quick to do a trick for a treat. Crazy about kids & loves when she gets extra attention from them. She is very smart, vocal and loves to play, especially tug of war. Generally does better with females - doesn't have issues with all men, but has been reactive to a couple of men. Never bitten anyone, but barks/growls from a distance, clearly anxious.

Story
Ive had Marley for 7 years. I got her from a shelter as a puppy and have had many adventures with her. Shes a great dog who loves to cuddle and spend time with her people. She loves going in hikes and exploring. She's had agility training and loved it. She's also been in some obedience classes as well.

Maya is a really sweet girl. She desperately needs to be somewhere with a yard where she can run as she has tons of energy. She’s part husky so can be vocal and howel at times. She’s good with some dogs, but takes her a little time to acclimate to other dogs. She likes toys and treats. She is mostly housebroken, but does have accidents inside which is part of the reason she needs to have access to the outdoors.

Story
Rhea is a sweet and loyal dog. We rescued her and her sister when she was about 6 weeks old on a beach in the Virgin Islands. We never planned to keep her this long but had to get her to the states to find her a better home. She can be timid around new people. She is slow to warm up to new dogs but then playful once she gets comfortable. She is great with our infant son. She needs to be separated from her litter mate. I feel her behavior will greatly improve once separated. She knows general commands and walks to heel on leash. She is very eager to please! Unfortunately, we do not have the space for her to be the happy dog she deserves or the time to give her the training she needs!
