Story
Very sweet girl, loves to give kisses and be around you. She has such a personality; she loves to vocalize, get the zoomies, go to the park, play with dogs, and at the end of the day snuggle in bed. She does have a high prey drive and she will chase and pin down the cats. She is redirectable this point but I cannot risk it. She is a bit high energy. She does tend to jump on people out of excitement and to try to lick their face. I have completed a basic training with her and she did exceptionally well. However due to my own busy schedule I failed to follow through with training at home. She is very bright and willing-I have no doubt that with someone with the right experience and lifestyle can give her a great life. I work extremely long days and it is just not fair to her. She is pen trained, potty trained, knows sit and lay down.

Story
Meet Penny! She’s a two year-old lab/rat terrier mix. Spayed, leash-trained, house and crate trained, but does not need to be in a crate; and up-to-date on all vaccines. As much as we love her and she loves our family and other dog, our home is a little too busy for her, and she gets overwhelmed with lots of company and needs a more quiet and calm atmosphere. She loves our 4 yr old daughter, but has a hard time with visitors and strangers. She would do best with a single person or a couple where someone works from home and doesn’t host many people in and out of the home. She needs a gentle hand because she is a bit shy and need some confidence boosting. She is an awesome pup, but needs the love and companionship of a family where she can check in with them throughout the day. She is a perfect blend of active and couch potato, loves running and playing outside and going for hikes but will snuggle up for much of the day or play with her toys inside.

Story
Brady was Rescued from the Virgin Islands, when he was about year old. He is not big but he is stocky. He loves being the center of attention. He has a huge personality! His favorite game is tug. He loves to run and thinks he part reindeer and jumps high. He is very curious and likes to explore his environment. He is very protective of his little human bestie. two unexpected factors arose. Sadly, his little human developed an allergy that she is struggling with. The second factor arose when Brady was determined to protect his family and didn’t hesitate to tell strangers and other dogs to stay away from his home. Brady went to a behavioral trainer and received a behavior evaluation by a trusted trainer who stated Brady seemed very well adjusted with good recall and manners, He just needs to be introduced to people slowly after a few minutes and treat train he is much better. The ideal home would be someone with time & patience to retrain him. Older children and no other pets.

Story
Nolan is a lovable 4-year-old mutt who has been an incredible companion to our family. He's sweet and affectionate and thrives in an environment where he can get plenty of attention and exercise. He's gentle, playful, and patient with our 4-year-old child, but we've noticed that he's become anxious around our nearly 2-year-old. Because of this, we believe Nolan would be best suited for a family with older children or in a home where he can be the sole attention of a loving, patient family. Nolan enjoys playing in our fenced-in yard, where he can burn off energy by running and exploring. While he does tend to pull on the leash during walks, he's incredibly trainable and responds well to positive reinforcement, especially when treats or toys are involved! Overall, Nolan is a good dog with a lot of love to give. He's loyal, playful, and full of personality. If you're looking for a companion, a great playmate for older kids, and a loving, devoted family member, Nolan is the perfect fit!

Story
Ralph is a 1 year old chow mix. He was adopted through a rescue and is a sweet boy. Ralph lives with a female shepherd pit mix & they get along great. We have 4 children in the home & Ralph does well with them but can be protective. We have installed a large fence around our home but unfortunately Ralph manages to get out and our home is close to main roads. Ralph would thrive in a home with lots of land to run free.
