Story
This is Benni (Benni Boo Bop)! She is a four-year-old unknown mixed breed who is super energetic, sassy, goofy, intelligent, curious, and cuddly. She is such a sweet pup who is super loving and loyal. I adopted Benni, at 18 years old, during a very difficult time in my life. She came from the Tangipahoa Animal Shelter and was dropped off, as a puppy, just the night before I adopted her, so I do not have much information about her exact age or breed. She struggles with some separation anxiety, and because I live alone and am a full-time university student, it has been difficult for me to ensure she is properly enriched, exercised, and socialized. Due to my rigorous schedule, it is unfair for her to suffer because I am unavailable during long periods of the day. My goal is for her to find a loving forever home where she has space to run and play, experiences routine, and is properly cared for, enriched, and socialized regularly. I am happy to provide all of her belongings!

Story
LUNA MAE was rescued in June 2023 from a kill shelter via a foster program. She was born Feb/Mar 2023 (1yr old) and weighs approximately 60 pounds. I am not sure about her mix, but it looks like she may have Basenji and possibly Boxer. She is housebroken, but I have kept her in a crate during the day because she is still a puppy and needs some supervision. This little girl has so much personality! She is very observant, loves to explore outside, walking around in a light summer rain and running through puddles, playing fetch, and teasing her sister-dog, Bella (who is also listed for adoption). Good with simple commands and loves to be rewarded with a treat. She is a snuggler and is a great Netflix-n-chill companion. If you are looking to adopt two dogs, please consider her sister BELLA JEAN. Due to a change in life circumstance, this has been a confusing time for them. They are a bonded pair and I would really love to keep them together if at all possible.
