Story
Scooter is a seven year old mutt with terrier mix. He has a thyroid condition and requires taking a pill each day to keep his skin healthy and has dietary restrictions. He loves to be around people and has been very sad since we are no longer home often. We no longer work from home with our kids’ busy schedules, Scooter does not get the attention or exercise he deserves. We would love to find him a home willing to help with his special needs (thyroid and dietary). He is very friendly and loves to cuddle and go for walks.

Story
He is such a good dog! He can be such a couch potato and will lay with you all day! Loves to be loved on but also okay to be alone. We got him from a shelter but just can’t t keep up with him anymore sadly. We have another female dog that he does really good with but does get a little territorial over his food, treats, and bed sometimes. We also have a young kid who he seems to do well with but he should be in a home without kids I don’t know much of his history weve only had him for a little over a year.

Story
We got onyx from the Kentucky Humane Society when he was only 6 weeks old. It pains me to say nowadays he doesn’t get as much love that he deserves with different life choices (both planned and unplanned) we simply don’t have enough time or energy to make sure he is well taken care of. He is a very very loving dog who never seems to be done cuddling. He has been trained knowing all the basic commands and a few tricks. He was attacked by another dog when he was smaller so he is very wary of other dogs until he gets to know them better. I just want to make sure he gets to a good home that would definitely give him all the attention he needs/deserves.

(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)

Not good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, House-trained,
Story
Charles is our sweet 3-year-old pup, adopted from the shelter three years ago. He’s super cuddly, loyal, and loves nothing more than curling up next to his person. He’d be happiest in a home where he has space to run or someone who enjoys taking him on walks. He’s crate trained, housebroken, and pretty chill overall — just looking for a calm, cozy home to call his own. He tends to warm up to women a little faster than men, but once he trusts you, he’s your buddy for life. The one thing: Charles needs a home without kids. He’s just not comfortable around little ones, and we want to make sure he feels safe and secure in his next chapter. This is the ONLY reason we are rehoming. We love him so much. If you or someone you know might be a good fit for Charles, send me a message — we’re heartbroken to say goodbye but hopeful we can find the perfect place for him to thrive.

Not good with dogs, House-trained,
Story
I got Phoenyx from a family friend when she was about two years old. I’ve had her for about a year now but I just work too much for her to have a good life. She’s full of energy and LOVES to cuddle with her humans. She’s skittish around new people and environments but warms up quickly. She is house trained and crate trained but she does get anxious when she’s alone for a long time.

Story
Penny Laine is 1/2 Red Heeler, 1/2 whatever her Dad was. Penny’s mom had a litter at the shelter, and 6 weeks later, we took Penny home. The sweet pup just turned 4 years old, and is currently depressed. Her brother Jimmy (tri-color dog in the photos) already found a new home, and now she’s left alone for long periods each day, which has never happened before. She needs love and care in a new home ASAP. Penny is sweet and energetic. She loves cuddles and being outside. She has been raised with dogs, cats, children, reptiles, and lots of people in-and-out. I am moving out of state, and cannot bring her with me. Penny would love to find a new forever home. Absolutely no adoption fee. You’re also welcome to her collars / harness/ food / etc.
