Story
Bentley is an approximately 6 year old mixed breed weighing about 75lbs. We got him about 1.5 years ago. He is a good dog, and we were told he was a stray as a puppy and had been in and out of the shelter a few times before we got him. He had a rough past. He is somewhat dog-aggressive and right now is unable to be around other dogs. I typically walk him early or avoid walking too near other dogs to keep him calm on walks. We started working with a trainer about 9 months ago. He has shown improvement in some areas, but is still not able to be fully socialized with other dogs. Unfortunately, I can no longer devote the time and energy into his continued training. He is not beyond hope, just beyond our abilities. He is great with kids and does well around other people. He is very affectionate and playful. He loves running in the yard and going for walks. He has a good handle on basic obedience and is fully house trained.

Story
Petunia is a sweet older gal. She followed us and our dogs home from a walk in December when it was 2 degrees out so we’ve been taking care of and feeding her and posting her around the neighborhood but no one has claimed her yet. She is a little bit older with a waddle in her step but she isa lovely girl who just wants to nap near her person all day. She still loves to run around in the yard and likes to go on walks, we have trained her to sit and lay down and she is kennel trained if she needs to be alone for longer periods. Unfortunately one of our dogs does not like other dogs so we cannot keep her, but she gets along really well with our male dog. Our vet said she is not microchipped, not spayed, but has not had a litter. She is estimated to be about 9/10 years old.

Story
He is a good dog, just not a fit for me. He is full of energy and very playful, and would do great with other dogs. He has some traits that need to be changed or adjusted, and I'm the guy to make that happen. I feel like we are just not clicking, and I want to find him a good home where he has people with him more often than I can be. I live alone, work a lot, and have an opportunity coming up that is going to make me travel more often. He needs a family, not just me who isn't home often enough.

Story
Bourbon was born in California, I took him in from a neighbor in 2(xxx) xxx-xxxx and he was roughly 1 year old. He is great with kids and babies, he loves other dogs and is very playful. He is house trained, gives paw, sits, and lays down. He is also trained on "wait and go" with eating. I did not put and adoption fee because I really want every penny to go into Bourbon and his rehoming process. This is a very hard decision to do as he is my 3 year old son's best friend. I am looking for someone who does not have a busy schedule and is able to be with Bourbon as much as possible. He is good with being home on his own but will definitely need time in the beginning to get acclimated to the new environment. He did struggle with separation anxiety with me when I first brought him home, but quickly grew out of it. He is a great companion and guard dog.
