Story
Mya is a 50#, 6 y/o rescue dog we've had for about 5 years and was my wife's dog. My wife recently passed away and Mya is lost without her companion and unfortunately has to spend wayyyy to much time in her crate while I'm away from home. She spent many hours each day lying alongside, or on my wife's lap. She is great with our grandkids, but doesn't know her own size around them (six that are ages 2 - 9). She has not been broken of jumping up on visitors and thinks she's a lap dog. She was never socialized around dogs/cats and thus the "no" response above. She is super excited to see other animals and she rushes to them causing them to react in fight or flight and then she responds in self-defense. On two occasions when a dog, and a cat, didn't react in self-defense they were able to play together well. She is crate trained. I will provide a crate, harness, leashes, bowls, etc., n/c. Fenced in yard needed - she is fast! I just want her to have the attention and love she deserves.

Story
Juliet is a wonderful dog still very full of love and energy. She was my mom's companion for many years. She may be 12 years old but acts more like a puppy. I took ownership of her when my mother passed away in 2022, but no longer feel like I am capable of giving her the home she needs. An ideal new home for her would be any that is willing to give her the love and attention she deserves.
