Muscular, athletic, and full of energy, Nipsey Dawg’s just as ready for an adventure as to flop over for belly rubs. He’s clever and treat powered—having figured out how to open his sister’s crate and sneak her food bowl. He thrives in a home with daily walks or hikes and would probably do well in agility training. He'd love a fenced yard. He’s finished basic training and is crate trained. Nipsey’s working hard on potty training and still needs reassurance when he thinks he’s been left behind. He can get nippy when excited, hence, his name. He’s vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and recently had a dental cleaning. He has rear luxating patellas that have not caused a problem. Has unknown allergies. DNA testing shows he’s mostly pug, jack russell, chihuahua & yorkshire terrier. He'd be happy with one sibling or as your one and only. If you want a compact pooch with brains and brawn, Nipsey Dawg's your little dude.

Story
Luna is the SWEETEST girl! She will win your heart with her soulful eyes and warm smile. Luna loves to snuggle and is such a LOYAL SWEET dog who will bring so much LOVE to your home. She has already been through home changes, so we really want to find her forever home. Luna was a rescue who came to us unexpectedly following an extended pup sitting where she became part of our family. When her owners asked if we would keep her, we said yes! Unfortunately, after loving her for over 2 years, we can no longer keep her. My partner moved in with his cat, and Luna has a very high prey drive. This was a very difficult decision as we will miss Luna greatly. Luna needs a home without any small animals. She is wonderful with children. She has done well with our other dog who is the same size as her. They share food, she does not resource guard. The two play quite a lot and will compete for our love and attention. Mixed breed, unknown. Needs tall fence. Will include XL crate, harness and leash.

Story
Nala is a sweet baby who loves to snuggle! She has been through a lot this year because our family was displaced due to forces of nature. We are having to rebuild our home and it's becoming very apparent that we will not recover financially anytime soon. Nala has began chewing on her skin and we've taken her to the vet, but we cannot figure out why she's doing it (probably stress). She's due for shots too and we just don't have the funds to do all that she needs. She's stressed out with all the changes and so are we. She needs stability, calm, and someone who can take care of her. We just can't and we didn't want to admit that, but we have to let her go have a better life! She is crate trained and house broken. She's lived with many other dogs and cats throughout this crazy year while we are trying to get our housing figured out and she's done great! She just wants love, she doesn't really care what other animals are around as long as somebody can snuggle her!

Meet Priya! This sweet 8-month-old little lady hasn’t had the easiest start in life, but she’s finally getting the chance to be a puppy — and she’s loving every second of it! Priya is making up for lost time: learning to play, discovering the joy of curling up on the couch, and realizing just how cozy a dog bed can be. Most importantly, she’s learning that people can be wonderful companions. Priya adores other dogs and gains so much confidence by following her furry friends’ lead. She loves to play and snuggle with her foster sister, and she’s wonderfully respectful of her cat foster brother — happy to coexist and mind her own business. She’s building her confidence on walks, working on her potty and crate training, and taking on new experiences with a brave little heart. Priya is a total cuddle bug — the perfect velcro pup who wants nothing more than to be near her people. If you’re looking for a loyal shadow and the best snuggler around, Priya might just be your girl! She weighs about 25 pounds, and while her breed mix is a bit of a mystery, we do know her dad was a Goldendoodle (surprising, we know!). Story
Lupe is a Chihuahua-Dachshund mix with a big personality! He can be introverted and protective, preferring a quiet home where he can relax and enjoy his favorite snacks. Though he can seem to be a bit grumpy when he first meets new people, he's just scared. Once he knows he can trust you, he’s a loyal companion who likes to hang out right next to his human. He just needs some patience and love. Lupe is very reliably potty-trained and will go to the door when he wants to go out. He gets along with other small dogs when they are properly introduced. Lupe has a loud bark so would not be ideal for a shared-walls situation. He likes a fenced-in yard but would be happy with leash walks. He prefers female dogs to male ones, but with a strong human leader he will adapt to having a fur brother. Lupe is smart. He watched another foster who had to be crate-trained because of chewing issues, go into his crate after each trip outside and get a treat. So, Lupe decided us to show that he is crate-trained as well! He enjoys his treats! 11/21/24, 12/21/24 CG

Story
Smokey is a very good and happy boy. His dad has become unable to care for himself and so this very good boy and his brother, Lucky, are needing a new forever home. Their dad is a kind man who let the boys have the run of the house and yard. The family members caring for them now report that the boys are progressing well with their house manners. Once boundaries are re-established, it seems both Smokey and Lucky are good in the house. They are affectionate pets and are fine with encouragement on the leash. These very worthy boys are waiting for the next chapter. We want this that to be with a person as loving as the first. Please consider Smokey and possibly Lucky too. They qualify for the Pets for Vets and Seniors for Seniors adoptions. Both boys are neutered, and just had dentals. They had vaccines updated and had negative heartworm tests. Lucky has no vision in his right eye due to a previous illness.
