Story
I’m rehoming my 5.5-year-old dog, Maple, who I adopted from the Humane Society of North Florida. She’s a loving, food-motivated dog who enjoys cuddles and is very curious. Maple is working on her reactivity with a trainer, but she still needs a patient owner who can give her more time and attention than I can as a college student. I didn’t realize how much time, energy, and resources it takes to care for her, and I feel bad being gone most of the day. Maple deserves more than I can provide. She’s great with people and loves being close to her family. She’s best suited for someone with the time to work on her training and provide her with lots of love and care. Maple would do well in a home where she’s not left alone for long periods and can get the mental and physical stimulation she needs. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate companion and can give her the attention she deserves, please reach out. I want her to have the life she deserves.

Story
Nina loves to snuggle. She's most happy snuggled up being pet and given love. My father recently died and we have had to move in with my mom and her dog and unfortunately she is not doing well with the dog. We want to find her a good safe loving home with no other pets. She is strong and her worst feature is that she pulls on the leash. Her best feature is she can't give enough kisses. She is not yet 2 years old so she still has puppy energy and love to play.

Story
Joy is a sweet girl that would probably enjoy a quieter house. Although she absolutely loves and adores kids. She came to me with 17 other dogs. She was kept outside most the time so she is a little standoffish at first but warms up and bonds strongly once she knows you. She's done amazing inside with zero accidents and kennels like a champ.

Story
Buster came in to our kennel April 19, with his sister Kasey. Their mother was very sick and had to go to the hospital. Unfortunately, she did not get well enough to be on her own and is now in a memory care facility. Their mom loved them dearly. They are still with us and it is time Buster (and or his sister) find a new forever home that will give them they love they deserve. Buster is around 10 years old and in great health! He loves to give kisses and be cuddled and loved on. He is energetic for his age and plays with his sister. He has met other dogs here but prefers the calmer ones. He would make the perfect companion for anyone and would steal your heart if you met him.

Story
Honey is a sweet girl! She loves to cuddle and when she’s excited she will smile and howl at you. She would do great with owners that have a large fenced yard so she can run around. I unfortunately don’t have a yard so we only do short walks. While we walk she sniffs everywhere and points so she’s definitely got some kind of hound in her. Please do not have cats around with her she absolutely hates them. I recommend an adopter that has experience dealing with dogs that have no manners and that can train. I unfortunately cannot handle her due to my injury. But I do believe after some running around in the yard and some basic training she will be a very easy dog. I already crate trained her and she will let you know when she has to go out. I haven’t socialized her with other dogs and or children. She may do ok with kids that are older but definitely not a toddler. I think she will just knock them over with her body. Please get in touch if you would like a meet and greet.

Story
“Hi I’m Bristol! I use to be a bait dog then was abandoned until I was rescued in August 2024. I was really scared from all of the abuse but now I’m learning a lot about being able to be myself!” Bristol is a wonderful dog he truly is, his front teeth have been shaved down but he can still eat hard food. He does have some skin allergies & needs a medicated bath once every two weeks. He is currently on heart worm treatment but other than that he’s a fat happy boy. He loves to play with other dogs & loves watching the chickens play. I unfortunately can’t keep him for much longer. Please feel free to contact me for any questions, he just wants to be loved.
