Story
Cleo was adopted at approx. 1 year old and it was stated that she had been abused. She has done well with 1 other older dog and kids. She now lives with the 1 older dog and an adult male, whom she is not connected to. He is moving and Cleo needs a home where she can have her human, needs to be a woman, who can give her the attention she craves. Although she has not been aggressive with other dogs, she gets stressed around high energy dogs, with lots of barking and pacing. She is a very affectionate dog. She does well with routine and supervision; she has had some accidents in the house when left for periods of time unsupervised, even with the opportunity to go out. When crated unsupervised, she has gone several days with no indoor accidents; she wants to please and does better when not left alone for long periods of time.

I rescued her when she was a 2 month old puppy. She will be 4 years old in October. She loves cuddles and to play. Tug a war is her favorite game. She loves cats, since i have 2. She has not been around dogs and doesn't like to be disturbed when eating. She plays with children ranging from 5-17. She take a minute to warm up to other people. She is very loyal and protective to those she loves. She is partially potty trained, she pees outside but poops in a training pad. She can eat anything.

Story
Hermione is six years old and has lived with us since she was 3 months old. She is often nervous and shy, more so around men than others. When anxious, she will hunker down or hide. She gets along with the cat and young grandson. She lets the grandson dress her up in scarves and sunglasses, feed her and they sleep together in his "clubhouse" (the crate). Hermione snuggles with him and any people who will let her lay with them. She is house-broken, barks to be let out, follows basic obedience commands and walks well on a leash. She is jealous of the Dane, showing this by growling, baring her teeth and pushing him with her body to move him away. Hermione's activity level is low. While she will run around the yard for a minute or two, she returns quickly to be let back in the house. We recently bought a boat to live on. She does not like it. There are too many unanticipated movements and noises for her to relax. She needs a loving family with a house that is stable and quiet.

Story
She’s a wonderful dog, with a few quirky mannerisms, she doesn’t ever bark or bite (Does like to lightly gnaw on hands), really likes to just chew on her toy and kinda keep to herself, but also loves playing when you want too. I would be keeping her if I wasn’t living in a small 3rd floor apartment. She was a stray, which my wife found at the Lackland AFB Gate, she had some fleas, but otherwise seemed to be in good health, seemingly with an indentation around her snout from a rope or muzzle. I just really want to find her a good home.

Story
This girl City Mama is so fun and loving and adorable. I adopted her from the county rescue about 2 months ago. She bedient and friendly and listens to commands well. Shes so loving. She can become aggressive when it comes to food and other dogs. I have to let her go because I have 2 other dogs & twice she has fought the new dog over crumbs & went so deep into the red zone that she did not respond to repeated yells & strikes to stop her attack. She does well with kids & my other dog but not the new dog. She doesn't get along with my cat at all & they stay away from each other. She snapped at him & my other dog when she first arrived. I scolded her for the behavior & it stopped. She & my first dog are in love now but not with the new dog. I think she would do great as the only pet. She gets excited when it's time to eat & needs to be told slow slow a few times before taking treats. Overall she's sweet & loving but has a little feisty side with certain other pets & food
