Maui is a 2 year old male we invited into our home about a year ago. He’s very sweet, loving, and playful. He has a little anxiety. He would do best in a home with someone there a good portion of the time or a family with older kids. He is house and crate trained, and understands basic commands. He enjoys playing with his toys and cuddling.

Story
Archie is a senior rescue who we began fostering 3 months ago. He is the biggest cuddle bug and wants to snuggle in bed or on the couch for as long as you will let him. He loves to remind his humans to give him pets by gently handing you his paw. Archie is house trained, leash trained and knows basic commands of come, sit and stay. Archie would thrive in a quiet environment where he is the only pet, or is among adult dogs with calm temperaments. Archie does not do well with cats, as he was never exposed to them for the first 7 years of his life and is very fearful of them. That is why we are needing to rehome Archie, as we have a 2 year old cat. Archie would thrive with a yard and experienced owners who can give him the love that he needs and so deserves. Archie has the biggest heart and will make an amazing companion to his future human. He is so loved and cannot be returned to the shelter as we know he will be put down due to his age and shelter overpopulation.

Story
Gracie is a SUPER sweet girl who we think is around 6 years old. She was was one of the Puerto Rican Hurricane dogs. We recently moved from a home with a yard to a townhouse and she is miserable. We love her to death but know she’s depressed in our new spot. We work so we cannot spend the time she needs and deserves either. She loves attention, time with people and time outside so any potential adopters would have to understand that she’s not a dog that is going to be happy being left alone for hours and hours during the day. The ideal adopter would be a retiree or someone who works from home and be willing to go on long walks or spend time outside or at a dog park. She loves laying in the sun and searching for her lifelong enemy, the squirrel.

Story
Jorge has been a great dog. He is 3 years old and I have had him since he was a puppy. It breaks my heart to have to let him go but I am no longer able to provide the attention he needs. Jorge, like most dogs is pretty inquisitive. He enjoys sniffing around, car rides, tug-o-war and playing fetch. He also loves to run and play, so he likely needs an adopter that can provide the time or space for him to do so. Jorge has lived with other dogs before but it can sometimes take him a while to warm up to other animals. He’s never lived with children so he may not do well young kids. I really need him to go to a loving home that will take care of him as well as I have.
